The Book of Winter Soldier (Team-Up)

Looking at simplifying our naming trends for vII's, should this thread be titled Winter Soldier (Heroic), and retitle Winter Soldier (I) to Winter Soldier (Villain)?

Other ideas are Winter Soldier (Avenger), Winter Soldier (Team-Up), etc.

They all fit. Avenger maybe does the most for the lunchbox crowd?

Hero and Villain works.

Probably not Avenger, since afaik comics WS doesn’t actually have a huge Avengers history. (He does as Captain America.)

Team-Up makes the most sense to me. That way we’re not hog-tied if somebody ever wants to do another heroic Winter Soldier.

From the Knockback FAQ
Q- If any figure with Deadly Shot/Strike and SuperStrength roll 2 attack dice and roll two skulls for an adjacent attack, how many Knockback points do they receive, 2 or 4?
A - 2. Knockback points are determined by each skull rolled, not each hit counted.

So does Cybernetic Southpaw actually affect Knockback? I could see it argued either way. It's not an Auto-Skull, which would not affect Knockback, but it's a blank rolled, a skull counted.

Either way, it will bypass auto shields on Destructible Objects, and benefits defending against Crossbones' Brutality 4.

Cybernetic Southpaw counts blanks as skulls, and skulls are counted for Knockback, so it should work.

Intentional or no, extra defense against Crossbones is a fun thematic tie.

I concur. You are still rolling the blank here, it just looks like a skull for our purposes.

Makes sense. Winter Soldier counts extra skulls, not hits.

The figure used is specifically #024. #100 has longer hair on the mini.
