If you can manage to run some tests with Reptile, I think between you and Ronin we should be good on testing, and just adjust points where needed to call him good.

- Theme Test - Inconclusive, as I don't know the character, but looking at gameplay videos I wonder if there should be more incentive for punching and kicking? He seems to do that an awful lot.
- Mirror Test - Pass
- Bonding Test - Pass - No synergies.
- Synergies Test - Pass - See above
- Power Check - Pass - Though Acid Combo can be a bit much sometimes, that's down to luck, and I've had similar experiences with Black Bat - its not really anything new, though being able to do it at range with the potential for corrosion damage is scary and definitely makes up for the lower base attack and inability to boost it.
- Fun Test - Definite Pass - He's fast, he's great for hit-and-run, and Acid Combo can be bloody terrifying if your luck's on.
- Fun Competitive Test - Pass
- Drafting Test - Pass - I was concerned he'd fall into low-to-mid level unsyenrgistic hero syndrome and get lost in the shuffle, especially since Acid Combo is a special attack and therefore doesn't necessarily make him a go-to for Avengers and Guardians builds, but I reckon he should be valuable enough in and of himself to draft based on that performance.
- Usage Test - Pass - I used all his powers repeatedly, the only aspect that seemed less than useful was his normal attack - unless you can get an attack boost, there's no point to it, and even then it's probably still better to run with Acid Combo unless you can stack attack boosts.
- Strategy Test - Pass - Acid Combo feels like it should be strategic, though I’m not really sure how to strategise around it - when do you go for the corrosion option before the last attack? I don’t know, I don’t know how you decide that. Even disregarding that, being able to use him as a hit-and-run assassin figure adds strategy to the game.

Norman Osborn flies to the northern hill and opens fire on Viper, inflicting a wound. Reptile engages Viper and strikes her once - only once, again, weakly - with acid.
Omega Red attempts, twice, to strike Reptile, but the pallette-swap ninja evades both blows. Viper takes out a concealed blade and swipes at Reptile - it does no obvious damage, a slight scratch at most, and so inflicts no wounds normally, but the poison courses through Reptile, inflicting a wound.
Iron Patriot flies into melee combat with Viper and strikes her twice, inflicting a wound. Reptile lets loose with an Acid Combo - the first attack rolls three skulls and kills Viper (Fatality!). He then engages Omega Red and strikes again, but the acid slides off the Russian’s carbonadium armour, ineffective. He strikes a third time, and it is again ineffective.
Omega Red receives a wound to his Death Factor.

Round Two

Iron Patriot claims the initiative and flies into melee combat with Omega Red, striking him twice and luckily inflicting a wound. Reptile attempts an Acid Combo - the first blow rolls three skulls, and inflicts a wound. The second rolls 3 skulls, but is blocked. The third is another three skull blow, inflicting a wound, though the corrosion damage fails.
Omega Red strikes Iron Patriot twice, inflicting two wounds with the second blow.
Iron Patriot strikes Omega Red twice, but his blows are blocked.
Omega Red strikes Iron Patriot twice, killing him and eliminating the enemy’s last turn with the second blow.
Omega Red strikes Reptile twice, but the Saurian blocks.

Overview: Doesn't get much closer than that, does it? Omega Red couldn't roll defence this game, but he's generally awesome and terrifying, so he still pulled through. Acid Combo is an interesting special attack to use, I'll give you that - I'm not sure I completely have the hang of it. How the hell are you supposed to determine when to go for the attempt at an extra attack and when to go for the attempt at corrosion damage? Both are dependent on a good attack roll to use effectively - I almost wish you got to choose after rolling attack, so you could see if you got a good attack roll and then had to choose between continuing your run of attack (and hoping to get corrosion later) or going for corrosion now.

Mikey leaps forwards.
Reptile runs up the road, spits three times at Mikey, inflicting a wound with the second shot, before slipping away, moving back down the road again.
Raph breaks rank, leaping forwards before leaping again onto the high ground next to Star-Lord, striking the Guardian twice and inflicting a wound.

Round Two

The Turtles claim the initiative. Leo activates the X on Raph, who strikes Star-Lord twice, inflicting two wounds with his second blow. Leo activates the 3 on Don, who vaults towards Star-Lord, striking him twice to no avail. Leonardo leaps forwards.
Mordo flies forwards and channels his dark arts, blasting Raph from low ground and inflicting two wounds, though he pays for his hubris.
Mikey charges Star-Lord and strikes him for a wound.
Mordo flies to the perch of height next to Michelangelo and channels the dark powers, striking him with an attack of eight. He inflicts two wounds, and survives his hubris.
Mordo attempts to strike Mikey normally, but the Turtle blocks his blow and strikes him back for a wound.

Round Three

The Guardians of Outworld claim the initiative. Baron Mordo musters all his dark energy and murders Michelangelo, but the magic burns him.
Leo activates the 3 on Raph, who knocks out Star-Lord. Leo activates the 2 on Don, who vaults towards Mordo and strikes him twice from low ground, inflicting a wound and leaving him near death. Leo, enraged by his brother’s death, charges Mordo and decapitates him from low ground.

Round Four

Reptile claims the initiative surges forwards and starts spitting at Leo - the first spit does nothing the second inflicts a lucky wound, and against the third Leo rolls only one shield, receiving two wounds normally and one to corrosion. Reptile then retreats.
Leo activates the X on Don, who vaults towards Reptile and strikes him twice to no avail. Leo moves to height.
Reptile slips past Don to spit at Leo... and misses straight away. He retreats back to where he was.
Leo activates the X on Raph, who advances, before leaping to another patch of height.
Reptile slips past Don and spits at Leo, killing him (Fatality!), before using his corrosive option to spit at Raph - he rolls only one skull, but Raph, distraught over his brother’s death, fails to block it and receives a wound, receiving another wound for corrosion damage.

Round Five

The Turtles claim the initiative, and Don vaults towards Reptile, striking him for a wound.
Reptile charges Raph and punches him normally from height, but his punch shockingly misses entirely.
Don, once again, vaults towards Reptile, and strikes him for a wound.
Reptile punches Raphael from height for a wound.
Don slips away from Reptile and vaults towards him, but his blow is blocked.
Reptile punches Raph, but his blow is blocked.

Round Six

The Turtles claim the initiative. Don slips away from Reptile, vaults towards him and strikes him, but misses wildly.
Reptile punches Raph, but is blocked.
Raph remains uncommonly placid (c’mon, man, show some rage!) as Don slips away from Reptile (who seems so focussed on Raph he can’t roll LEAs to save his life) and vaults towards him, kicking him in the head for a wound.
Reptile strikes Raphael with a deadly blow, tearing his head off. Fatality!
Don runs from Reptile, taking a wound, before leaping towards him again, but his blow is blocked.

Round Seven

Don claims the initiative, slips away from Reptile and leaps towards him, kicking him in the head and knocking him out to avenge his brothers.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Victorious, Donatello 2 wounds.

Overview: Wow! Reptile was a killing machine in that game! Granted, a lot of that was luck - that opening volley against Leonardo was insane and should never really have turned out like that. Still, I have to say, this guy's a fun one! I liked being able to use him for hit and run - move in, use Acid Combo, move out of the way of reprisal - I imagine he'll be a great, dangerous hit and run figure. I really like him - well done!

Hopefully Ronin's will be enough to wrap him up. He's looking reasonable at 185, but I wouldn't mind bumping him to 195 if Ronin's come in stronger. He may be losing his games, but he's definitely performing decently regardless.

Oh and your comment about him doing more kicks and punches in combos, although it's titled "Acid Combo Special Attack", there's nothing saying that some of the hits couldn't be kicks or punches if he's adjacent.

Reptile's Partial Invisibility helps him slip under the radar as Team Arrow focuses on taking down Red Skull and Robot. Reptile gets some pretty good hits in with his Robot/Red Skull bonding and does a lot of work in mopping up the other team, but then Roy finally turns his attention to Reptile and tears him apart with a few big attacks. Kind of a lucky result for Roy, winning the day for Team Arrow.

Wow, really tense match, with a wounded Bullseye and a single squad of Ninja taking on a half-dead Billy Batson. The Ninja eked it out, but only just - it came down to an initiative roll with a 1-Life Billy versus a single Ninja. The Ninja took the initiative and came up with an all-skulls roll to beat out Captain Marvel's defense by a single skull, winning the game.

Reptile himself didn't get that much action here - he got a couple turns in, but the Ninja managed to keep him engaged to expose his partial invisibility, and swarm him enough to eat through his defense. He did a pretty decent job keeping the first wave of Ninja off of Norman's back, though, and keeping them tied down where Norman could pick them off.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): not used
• Partial Invisibility: prevented Hand Ninja from attacking from height a couple times, but the Ninja managed to swarm him and keep him engaged, keeping him vulnerable for a lot of his lifespan
• Nimble: didn't move that much because he was blocking for Iron Patriot, but it gave him some flex in attacking and then positioning himself

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Seems balanced enough. These games were both super close, and Reptile's a pretty insular unit in that he's not straightforward to boost or leverage - he's got no keyword synergy and his big offensive hook is a special attack.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Feels fun to play - mobile guy that gets a lot of attacks in. In my first game he had a lot of luck with multi-attacks - he got the multi-attack every time he could have, but never managed to get the acid damage in. A little more mixed in the second game, where he got less than 2 skulls once (still no acid damage, though).

He may have lost all but 1 of his 7 games, but almost all of them were very close, and he did well enough himself. He felt fun and thematic to me so I’d say he’s good at 185.
