I think it is a stand alone game based off of Mice and Mystics, and that the two could perhaps work together, but are both stand alone games? I don't own it though, so I don't know for sure.

Tail Feathers, as well as Mice & Mystics, are both stand-alone games. TF does provide for the use of some of the miniatures that came in M&M though.
