Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
Some versions just have a black faceplate or even just black handlebars.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
Was watching the 3rd Doctor series The Spiders.
Do they show up again anywhere? They have some fun powers. Mind control, webbing and a short range energy attack. Also there was a Timelord who could mentally project another self. |

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
They haven't shown up on TV again, but have made a few EU appearances. I especially like the 8th Doctor Audios they were in.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
The Forgotten is a kind of anthology thing with a bunch of easter eggs, so I highly doubt it's a full fleshed-out story. But a good cameo with clear comic art might be enough to justify a design.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
Any thoughts on Leela?
I have decided she is my favorite Companion, she always was growing up. Been watching her episodes again and she is a great fit for Heroscape being perhaps the most pure warrior Companion. Looking her up I see she had many other adventures. Not sure if I want TV Leela or Time War Leela. |

Quote:
For Leela I was having a hard time picking powers. She'd have the companion power for sure, but I was having a hard time picking between the Janus Thorn, a crossbow, or a tracking power. I figured one of those would have to go. I was looking at one of the AotP minis as maybe being good for her figure. |

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
Never heard of Leela. Is the Futurama character an homage?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
She's a companion from the 70s. No clue if Futurama Leela is a reference, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop
Heh, no but she did show up in my searches for comic art.
A barbarian type, perhaps bordering on assassin. Primitive but she is from the future and learns things quickly. The Doctor says she has a kind of sixth sense and can sense minor temper variations. I would guess she has one of the highest kill counts for a Companion. She goes on to become somewhat immortal and fights and survives in the Time War. I may take you up on those audios Nobody. I am going to look for the comics. |
