No, the "When it comes into play" version is right. Glyphs aren't always there at the start of the game, so we word glyphs with markers like that. Check out the E-Ray or the Cosmic Converter Belt.

We do capitalize "Markers" in this context, though (ie whenever it's in the name of a specific kind of marker):

I also slightly tweaked it slightly for clarity and so that it would only work on Army Cards to keep it from preempting itself weirdly in a mirror match. (Player A tries to use Black King's power. Player B counters with Bat Credit Card, but before he can remove the Investment Marker, Player A counters with the Bat Credit Card. But before he can remove the Investment Marker, Player B counters with the Bat Credit Card....)

Hmm, going by Magic the Gathering stack rules I guess you're right. That's half the intent of that line.

The only thing we'd be missing out on with your rule is if we eventually decide to make other glyphs with Investment markers, but that's a long shop and I'm not concerned with it!
