The Soldiers did not get changed, yet suddenly have become relevant in the new take on Zod because he allows you to get two attacks of 5 out of 1 OM reveal now, bringing them on par with the Hawkmen. So they in a way were fixed by fixing Zod, which is a big win for us as it killed two birds with one stone.
As shown in the last set of tests the Infiltrators are still are not a good option even in a new Zod army. Since the idea of improving that option and trying to make the Infiltrators relevant without changing their design was met with silence, the Infiltrators really should be reevaluated after this. Changing their 1 in 6 chance of Infiltrating to either 1 in 3, or 1 in 2, would maybe make them useful in a Zod build as you might actually be able to get a bunch engaged all at once and make the unblockable option attractive. I still have my doubts about that though. Giving Zod full bonding with Superman/Doomsday/Supergirl would just further make the Soldiers and Infiltrators irrelevant. Then he's not "General" Zod anymore, he's "Superman and friends" Zod. That idea is something a Zod II can be looked at for if people really want to turn Zod into a sidekick, it would be a significant change to the original design here. |

I really think adding in Zatanna II will make Infiltrators at least a little more relevant. It just hasn’t been tested yet.

Requiring non-thematic combos to be effective is never a good result for a design though, IMO.

No, but I think at some point it’s inevitable in our crazy mashup game that unthematic units are going to play well together. The Kryptonians have a blank-rolling mechanic, so of course she’s going to go well with them.

Haven't had a lot of time to follow this, but I've mostly glazed over things. Could just add a die for the Infiltration to add some utility. Makes it seem more of an even change when combined with the change for the Soldiers.h
