This is exactly why we need a robust space program and a long term vision of the future. Now through May 28th, the Louisville region is in desperate need of platelets - call the Red Cross if you are interested in donating! |

Re: 40 years ago today.....
Aw.....so easily debunked......
Best response to that still is Buzz Aldrin decking the guy who claimed they were faked, lol. Now through May 28th, the Louisville region is in desperate need of platelets - call the Red Cross if you are interested in donating! |

One good debunking video I've seen is the multidirectional shadow in Myth Busters. I haven't came across a good debunking video or explaination about the dancing shadows (stretching shadows). But lets not debate about it here. No matter how sceptics (including me) try to disprove the landing on the moon--be it really happened or did not--it will always remain that man has landed on the moon. Happy anniversary to you guys. Yeah, I loved the massive diorama that Adam built on that episode.
For those who never saw the Aldrin video, here it is..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUI36tPKDg4 Now through May 28th, the Louisville region is in desperate need of platelets - call the Red Cross if you are interested in donating! |

Re: 40 years ago today.....
Buzz Aldrin punching that guy is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. You can hear how painful it probably was.
This is one of the milder conspiracy theories out there. As someone pointed out, the simple fact that China and Russia have not tried to argue that we didn't go to the moon is proof that we did. They know we went to the moon. If we didn't, they would be elated to prove us as fakes in front of the entire world. Private industries will be making the next gains in space travel. I would fully support the government giving them incentives, but that's going to be a tough sell at the moment. Check out Gulp's Glyphs Not Worth Grabbing and Gulp's Abilities Not Worth Activating! Re: 40 years ago today.....
There was another team that was sent to the moon. They encountered 3 escaped prisoners from Kryptons "phantom zone", and were immediately slaughtered...
It was all over TV! Who would go back there after that? |

I'm not saying the moon landings were faked. WAY too many people would have to be involved for something like that without someone spilling the beans a long time ago. All I said was, it seemed a bit strange that no one has been there since 1972, despite all the risks and costs. |
