Spoiler free. I have loved Obi-Wan’s characterization. His current disconnect to the Force is not only portrayed by the fact that he buried his and Anakin’s lightsabers in the sand, but also by his inability to connect with Qui-Gon’s Force Ghost. I hope we get to see him connect with Qui-Gon (and consequently, Liam Nissan reprising the role) by the end of the show.

It definitely stands in contrast to Sir Alec Guinness’ Kenobi who was confident enough in the Force to tell Vader “strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine” and then allow Vader to do so.

I have loved Young Leia. She’s everything that Carrie Fisher was as Leia plus the child-like innocence. I love seeing more of Alderaan, and the Organa’s life. Her scene with Kenobi and the stormtroopers in the latest episode was so well done. I love how Kenobi is struggling with Padme’s death as well as losing Anakin. Maybe even more so now that he’s around someone that remind him of her. In general, I love giving more attention to the less developed members of the Skywalker family (Leia and Padme).

Thinking about it now I am surprised that Leia is so deprived of any background information of Padme since Bail and Padme served on the senate together. You would think that Bail would love sharing stories of Padme with Leia. Maybe it’s hard for him though too.

Ditto all that! They are expanding characters and world in all the right ways imo.
