Re: The Spellbook of Vapors of Valtorr
VAPORS OF VALTORR
Unique Spell 35 Points After all Order Markers are placed and before rolling for initiative, if there is at least one Order Marker on the card of this figure, this figure may cast this spell. If they do, for the duration of this round, this figure and any figures within 4 clear sight spaces of this figure have no visible hit zones. Re: The Spellbook of Vapors of Valtorr
This one is a Marvel spell. Open to ideas on the Bio, will work on something eventually if no one has any.
I went with the latest wording proposed by Viegon here as I kind of like the OM requirement. I only wonder if it will become confusing as the spell card references an OM on 'this' card but it actually means on the card of the figure casting the spell. Can we clear that up with some different wording? Also I think we may have discussed a FAQ for this one as there seemed to be some questions about the Fog moving with the caster as well as if the fog also affects the opponents figures. If we want to include a FAQ to deal with those questions before they are asked, any ideas on how it should look? |

Here are Ronin's thoughts on the wording.

Also thinking about changing the timing of the this spell as well to after placing OM's and before rolling initiative. Then it matches up with the Temporal Inversion spell and solves the same issue of someone winning initiative and then revealing an OM as quickly as possible to prevent you from playing the spell.

Re: The Spellbook of Vapors of Valtorr
So with that, how does this look?
After all Order Markers are placed and before rolling for initiative, if there is at least one Order Marker on the card of this figure, this figure may cast this spell. If they do, for the duration of this round, this figure and any figures within 4 clear sight spaces of this figure have no visible hit zones. |

Re: The Spellbook of Vapors of Valtorr
How about this for a Bio?
As you look down the barrel of your gun, a small grin creeps in as your target comes into view. That satisfied feeling is a fleeting one though as you watch your view rapidly become obscured. Where did this devilish fog come from? Cursing magic users under your breath you holster your weapon, pull out a knife and wade into the fog. Looks like you will have to do things the hard way. |

I like it.

Re: The Spellbook of Vapors of Valtorr
Eh, that bio (and the one you posted in Mystic Flames), don't match well with the other bios. A bunch of the other ones are single line bios. I think it's best to be consistent with these., though I don't really care which way we go.
