I would word it more like this since the way you have written implies it's granting more of an additional attack.

Yeah, I was trying to keep the does not inflict any wounds part, but I think I just want it to be a straight reroll. Gets messy otherwise. Should probably be "before defense dice are rolled" right?

Good call, yeah.

Cold (I) definitely seems like her best combo, to make that cold gun more reliably activate. And Top is great for sure, since you'll be happy with rolling blanks or skulls.

I believe that works. So you'd be able to A. Take a turn with Captain Cold B. Reroll with him if needed C. Use his Cold Gun immediate bonus turn if it triggers and D. Take a turn with Blacksmith, since everything else still happened before a turn with Blacksmith

But you wouldn't be able to E. Take a turn with Golden Glider because the last line of Rogue Roster Upgrades now prevents it.

Thoughts? Anything I'm missing?

My thought would be with the current wording you'd have to choose between the Rogue Duo bonding or the Rogue Roster Upgrades bonding, as both would activate at the same time.

But your rewrite seems to solve the issue too.

Green Arrow goes. Red Arrow’s Speed Shot fails a Secret Attack on Weather Wizard and Green Arrow skillfully places a shot, but can’t hit Weather Wizard either.
Blacksmith advances with Top.
Weather Wizard’s Fog Cover stymies Green Arrow and Red Arrow.
Mirror Master goes Through the Looking Glass, adjacent to Red Arrow, whom he punches for one wound (thanks to a reroll) and Blacksmith advances.

Round 2: Initiative Rogues. Mirror Master sends Oliver one space through the Looking Glass, then hits Red Skull for two wounds (got two skulls on three dice, so no reroll). Blacksmith advances.

The Top pursues Oracle, but can’t hit her. A reroll doesn’t help. Blacksmith hits a disoriented Oracle for one wound from height.
Oracle can’t hit Blacksmith back.
Weather Wizard flies up and Oracle whiffs against his first attack, ending it.

Unit Summary: I think a lot of it was the dice, but the Birds of Prey just got rolled by hot attacking Rogues here. Mirror Master ended up jetting ahead in the first round to smack down the Archers, so the plan of Blacksmith stacking with Captain Cold never got rolling. Even without Cold in the game, Blacksmith was a powerful Rogue leader here. If the next game is a similar big victory, I’m going to try her stats down a tad (especially attack, in hopes of making her special attack more relevant).

Unit Summary: Rough slog here, but nice to see the Rogues coming back down to Earth! Wrecking Crew is a tough match up for a bunch of glass-jawed attackers, so I’m not too surprised by these results. Blacksmith got in turns early, but once the Wrecking Crew got rolling, there was nothing she or her team could really do.
The house looked nice on the battlefield but didn’t play much of a role at all other than LOS blocker, which was limited in use due to the Wrecking Crew being melee. No balance or mechanical issues, though.

Unit Summary: The Turtles had better movement on this map, able to get up to the bridge more effectively, and thus has height for most of the game, and used it and hot initiative rolls to take out Blacksmith before she could properly respond. She did get in a couple licks before falling, though. The Small Houses never really came into play here. This certainly felt like it could’ve gone either way, but Acid Boomerang was huge for Cap’n Boomerang and after Leo fell the Turtles, especially Raph’s dice, fell apart down the stretch.
