Sure...between me, El Diabolo, and NecroBlade, I'm sure we can spare an extra squad. You can only use them on one condition, though: No Grimnak.

Sure...between me, El Diabolo, and NecroBlade, I'm sure we can spare an extra squad. You can only use them on one condition, though: No Grimnak.
That's fine by me - wasn't going to use him anyway. I have.....something else in mind.
Now through May 28th, the Louisville region is in desperate need of platelets - call the Red Cross if you are interested in donating!

The new rules are you can place them anywhere, even engaged with opponents. The only condition is you can't place them on glyphs.

??? I can't look this up right now because I need to get out the door, but my understanding is that old HoB rules allow for units to be engaged and the new rules state there must be at least one hex seperation on initial placement. Reason being because the old rules turned the HoB format into nothing more than a Warriors of Ashra festival.

I just ran a very awesome Heroscape demo/casual at my church today - 12 players! Had a great time... what an awesome game! Looking forward to Saturday... time to start finalizing maps!

I noticed at the last tournament that when I was shouting out map and player assignments... it would be quiet at the beginning... but after people got their map assignments... they would start talking... which made me have to shout louder... and louder... and louder.

Anyone have a solution for getting out assignments that is quick... visual... and doesnt require a big screen tv???

You can't place engaged (adjacent to enemies) or on glyphs, but you can place adjacent to your own figures.*

I'll bring some extra Blade Gruts (and an extra army or two) just in case.

Marcus, I don't have a solution for you.

*Speaking of which, anyone have 2 squads of Romans I can borrow?

El Diabolo - The most I can say is that I'll try to shush everyone while you are calling out - we should be adults enough to stop talking for 2 minutes while you assign opponents and maps.

Second, Josh, might not be coming, but Jonathan is a definite in and with my army I shall take 1st finally (as long as I don't have to play Megasilver or Necroblade )
