Looking for Complete Collection

I used to own every piece to Heroscape and sold it because of space issues. Now I've upgraded my house and I've decided I want to buy it all back. Does anyone know of anyone who is trying to sell their complete collection. (I already have some messages sent to Jonny, but no response )

I am new to this site and I don't know how often people are offering an entire collection.

If you are still looking I have a complete collection I would be willing to part with for the right price. I have at least 1 of everything, even convention exclusives. Only thing I don't have is a Samuel Brown, and that is only because I don't trust myself to paint the figure and print a nice card for him. I am in the Phoenix area and can send pictures if you want, but most everything is in storage bins, except I have all characters on display in a case.

I believe he has a store of some sort where he sells figures for RPGs. So not exclusively DnD I think.

I collect Heroscape for my D&D game and rebase them on Dungeon Crawler bases. A lot of Hersocape is actually quite usefull for D&D. Figures with guns, mech types, or duplicates I already have I just resell on my site.

I'd prefer just getting the figures I need to complete my collection, but buying an entire lot seems easier (and cheaper) than buying individuals. I've posted here a couple of times with my want list but never had much luck.

8) Bumping your thread. You may "bump" your trade thread no sooner than two weeks after the last post in it. 9) Paypal gifts. If using PayPal for payments, sellers may not ask the buyers to send the money as a PayPal gift. Buyers are strongly cautioned against sending payments as "gifts" to anyone as part of a transaction that is not, actually, a gift.

10) Shipping. If the buyer requests the seller ship via a method that provides tracking numbers, the seller should honor that request, and should inform the buyer of the tracking number within 2 days after the item has shipped. Depending on the shipping company, obtaining a tracking number may be an additional expense to the seller, so the buyer should request this service prior the final price being determined.

11) Disputes. If there is a dispute over a trade, please go to the first post of the seller's thread and report the post. In the report, tell us exactly what was agreed to and what has happened since the trade was agreed to which has caused the dispute. We will do our best to help bring the dispute to an amicable conclusion, but what we're able to do can be limited.

12) Administrators' Discretion. These rules bind the online trading activity here at heroscapers.com. Traders should be aware, however, that the administrators may change these rules or make exceptions completely within their own discretion.

Sample Trading Procedure

What follows is a sample procedure for doing sales that generally provides for smooth transactions and uses PayPal to provide both the buyer and seller with some protections. You do not have to follow this exact procedure, provided you are otherwise following the rules above and conducting yourself in an ethical manner.

1) Buyer researches seller's previous trade history, if any, by reading through the seller's thread for feedback.

2) Buyer and seller negotiate on a price for items. During the negotiation the seller should provide a clear description of any deficiencies in the condition of the items and is also clear about what is and is not included with the sale. ("All of my figures show signs of use, including things like bent spears. Nothing is outright broken. Cards are included and in good condition.")

3) Buyer should get a clear date when an item will be shipped and via what method before any money changes hands.

4) In a timely manner, buyer pays using PayPal and sends the money as a "Goods" purchase (not a "Gift"). For extra protection, the buyer can specify a credit card (not debit card, or checking account) as the source of the funds. You must use a Goods purchase to be eligible for PayPal's Buyer Protection. When sending the money, be sure to specify a shipping address, verified with PayPal, so the buyer knows exactly where it should be shipped. It is also a good idea to provide the general details of the transaction in the PayPal comment box (what you're buying, what condition it is in, and when the buyer said it will be shipped).

5) After receiving the funds, the buyer ships the item via a shipper that provides a tracking number. Be sure to factor this in when determining how much the buyer should pay you for shipping! (The U.S. Postal Service calls this a delivery confirmation number and is free for Priority Mail shipments entered online, but can cost $1 or so to add otherwise). To use PayPal's Seller Protection, you should ship within 7 days and make sure that they buyer provided a VERIFIED shipping address. If the payment is over $250, you should also ship requiring a signature at delivery.

6) In the event a seller does not ship an item in a timely fashion or the items is significantly different than described, the buyer should open a claim with PayPal. The seller is given a period of time to resolve the claim, shipping the item (or providing the evidence that they did in fact previously ship the item) and PayPal helps mediate any disputes.

So kindly don't buy lots and then resell minis on your site. That's abusing this community, which often is trying to cut people a break to recirculate the figures among fellow players.

Don't abuse this community. Buy precisely what you want but I will ban you in a heartbeat if I think you are turning your purchases here for a profit.

Yes, I just explained that I do not buy Heroscape minis to intentionally resell them all on my website. I am a collector and am trying to finish my Heroscape collection. I know what goes on here and I appreciate the community.

I am a long time gamer and an active member on many D&D and miniature collector forums. I'm fairly well known in the gaming scene as a gamer and a seller; which I assume is why the previous poster recognized my name as a storefront owner. Thank you for the confrontational response and the immediate threats of "banning me in a heartbeat". Really warm welcome to a long time lurker of this site.

I have nothing to apologize for, though. You said you buy lots of Heroscape, and you turn around and resell them - or, at least, those you aren't using in your RPGs - on your website. That is expressly forbidden, as I showed you. Be mad, be disappointed, I don't care. I'm not interested in your website, I'm interested that this community knows that we do our best to make sure that the transactions here are not purchases by people looking to make a buck off of those trying to help out other players.

I hope you understand.
