Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
I didn't know there was a limit!

Also on the last power you suggested, it just feels like Healing Factor with extra markers so I'd rather give him Healing Factor or Unstoppable Resilience at that point. |

Yeah, I'm struggling with getting this power right. Maybe I'm overthinking it.

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
If we want an “absorbing” feel:
BODY OF SOUND After Klaw defends against an attack from an opponent’s figure, if he is not destroyed, remove a Wound Marker from this card. |

...or roll an unblockable attack against an adjacent opponent(or within 2 spaces?) Someone shared a future design of someone that Klaw works with and that last line ties in with one of its powers perfectly. I like this direction, although it feels less immortal. Maybe I need to get over that. |

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
I’d probably switch it and do L6D4. The enemey should feel like they’re able to make some progress, even with weaker attackers.
Rolling an unblockable ever time he’s attacked is going to be pretty potent. Would be interested if you could DM me what character/design you’re talking about, if it’s posted somewhere. |

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
I miss the destruction save.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
Funnily, the destruction save was the thing that worked the least for me. Different strokes, I guess - I jus feel like "once per round, you aren't destroyed!" has been pretty codified in our game as a 'superior willpower' type thing. I know bios and stuff say Klaw can reform himself through force of will, but I've never seen him as a character who is nearly as driven as Daredevil, Thing, Nova, etc.

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
I think the "evil thing that you think you destroyed and then it just completely reforms itself and the villain says something like 'is that all you've got?' or 'are we finished playing?'" is a pretty tried and true theme that can be reflected in that mechanic just as effectively.

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
I tend to think that's conveyed better by something like Michael Myers or Dr. Manhattan. But again, that's probably just a matter of taste.

Re: The Book Of Klaw - Breathing
What if we drop the healing and go with this? With 6 life and 4 defense?
BODY OF SOUND Once per round, if Klaw would be destroyed by receiving wounds, he instead takes no damage. If Klaw is attacked and takes no damage you may roll an unblockable attack against a figure within 2 clear sight spaces. |
