In an old fantasy mythology, Velenne was the patron saint of music. It was also one of the only unique screen-names I could get in my old (read: 10 years ago) AOL days which didn't contain numbers or symbols. I've just sort of stuck with it since it's so unique and rarely taken.

I'm also Velenne on the HQ boards, or just Nate if you know me person.

I just checked to see if HQ was up (it was), and saw the thread that pointed the way here. It will be interesting to see how quickly this ite grows. HQ grew fast once .net officially shut down. But there's nothing at HQ suggesting that it is going anywhere, so we may end up with two "competing" sites.

I believe this is an introduction thread, although a bit unorthodox.

My name is Sapphira, but I always have gone by the handle "phoenix" on messageboards, because of my phoenix tattoo that I got many years ago when I turned 18 (being the rebel I was).

My husband and I have been playing Heroscape for over a month now and absolutely love it! He runs an attacktix blog/messageboard and we run tournaments for kids with that game. Heroscape is a bit more adult, and a lot of fun.

We have lived in Tampa, FL for over a year now as well.

Love the board, and definitely NEED all the FAQ info.
