Since the whole purpose of dropping the full time auto block was to make him less oppressive against mid-level heroes. And the big hitters won their match-up in your test so that's not an issue.

Eric: 2-1 at 5 D and the Autoblock
Archie: 1-1 at 5 D and the Autoblock always on.
Bats: 1-1 at 4 D and Autoblock always on but with X giving 2 blocks

5 defense and no autoblock is substantially worse than 4 defense and all time Autoblock. And if you thought it was close but a tad hot before and this makes him more vulnerable to mid levels.

To be clear, I didn't think it was close before. I thought he felt overpowered for the cost before the change.

I think he's probably good with the change. I mildly worry about just stamping based on theoryscape, though, and not getting any play experience with him to verify (and I want to make sure we avoid *too much* of a depowering as well).

That said, sounds like Eric might be planning to run him with the Stepfords, which could give us a solid idea?

Didn't take notes, but for my own sake, I quickly ran Magneto/Blob/Sabretooth/Toad/Pyro against the OG X-Men. Close one that came down to Prof X and wounded Beast against full life Sabretooth in end game, but Beast beasted out and the dice went in favor of the X-Men. 2 Life Prof X and 4 Life Beast won, but felt like either side easily could have.
