Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
Which figures are most worth using Carry on? I would think someone with passive defense over Punisher.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
I'd ballpark him around 210-220. His OM management and extra move are good but not great
The disengage is what really bumps the usefulness of that power, followed by the OM management. I'd say that's worth around 45 points all together. Carry is a dang good.power no matter who has it and is probably worth another 30. The range bonus, though limited, is super helpful and is worth 25. Bringing us up to 100 just off of the powers. Being Large (or Huge) gives some inherent benefits and negatives and is probably worth another 15. He has 5 life, 6 life, and 5 defense. All of which are better than average worth about another 65. His rang and attack are about average and worth about another 30. Which brings the grand total to 210 which is probably where I'd start. That depends on what you are tying to do. If you're trying to setup a kill box, then someone like Punisher would be your best choice. If you're trying to setup a defensive pod someone more like Sue or Beat Cops would be the best choice. |

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
Yeah, I'm an aggressive player rather then a defense pod type of guy, so carrying Punisher up to High Ground as quickly as possible while boosting him further via Prime is more my lane. Bringing someone who can also boost Bee's defense isn't a bad though though, so maybe carry around Bane for both an att. and def. bonus whereever Bee goes? Not sure how potent Bizzarro is after the nerf, but maybe carrying him around could be effective too, but then you need to maximize the other aspect of his scouting (if you are not carrying up a potent offensive option into the battle) and boost someone's ranged attack. Not a ton of Cybertronian options right now to boost the range of though. How do you all feel about letting him boost the range of any figure with a base range of 4+ instead of limiting it to Cybertronians. Then you could try boosting the range of some Archers or something.

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
Okay, then I would certainly focus your testing efforts on maximizing how he works with Prime then. Getting a +2 att. from Prime on OM3 while not taking a turn with Prime on both OM1 & 2 is a significant tactical move. If you want to be attacking with Bee on OM3, then carrying Bane seems like a good idea for one of the tests.

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
Yeah, Bane would be a good one to carry. I was thinking Jean with her Psionic Grip might be good to carry. Or someone like Robin (Dick Grayson) that you could use to tie up the enemy in engagement and basically keep Bee around longer.

Actually, I wonder if we couldn't chain Carrie's. Since I believe that we ruled that placement powers count as movement.

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
You can't chain Carry into Carry. Legacy FAQ from Classic.
Probably the rules infrastructure to stop you from chaining Carry into Swift Carry into itself is not there, though. |

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
Passive abilities are the best to Carry for sure. As mentioned, Bane and Jean Grey are great examples, as are units like Cosmic Boy. I think Bumblebee could live as a general support unit which I am okay with. He's pretty iconic in the Transformers realm (I'd say top 4 most recognizable given Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream) so having him be a tool for general builds is a fun way to branch out.
Like Superheroes and Comics?

Re: The Book of Bumblebee (Breathe Bee)
I think he will certainly have his place, his role, in the faction. He will offer some nice support and bee that one Autobot that can go places the others just cannot.
