Oh. I wonder if it was @Rosencrantz , and not deroche, who suggested the wash. Because he offered to do it for us, if we had the PKs with us, which we did not.

No one took me up on my offer. I was talking to people about how to do the washes so it probably was me. Glad to help.
On a side note, be warned that for some reason painted Heroscape figures seem to become slightly more bendy. Not a lot, but enough that it is noticable side by side to a non-painted figure.
