This was not my impression when we met.

My wife certainly doesn't see it either. But I've been approached by many people that have. Weird. Hand of fate is moving and the finger points to you ...Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man TUTORIAL FOR RE-BASING FIGURES 3hrs 43mins 32secs = 1242nd of 8808 overall - 1988 Honolulu Marathon |

And you're all like, "Go away, Matt Damon! I told you that I'm busy."

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Well it would be more like, "Go away Sandra Bullock, I'm busy." Seeing as it's always the female persuasion that tells me I look like George Clooney. But then again, I wouldn't tell Sandra Bullock to go away

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I know we've met years ago LP, don't recall any Cillian Murphy resemblance, but then maybe he wasn't as famous in my mind at the time. I know he was Scarecrow, but that might have been the only thing I knew him from back then, since then I've watched several seasons of Peaky Blinders.
Having random women tell you, you look like George Clooney, isn't the worse thing to happen to someone. |

Does that mean you didn't like George Clooney's Batman?

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I can't say I had an ice time watching it, no. Though that wasn't necessarily the titular character's fault.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
PBS: American Experience: World War I
Extremely well done as PBS is known to do. I have grown more and more fascinated with WWI over the years and this special gives an incredible perspective. The first part leads up to USA entering the war so you get a ton of background about where we were(like the 17th most powerful army despite being the world leader in steel production and transportation) and what lead to us to finally entering the war (pretty much German subs sinking any ship with a US flag, or at least that was the last straw). Two parts, about 4 hours total. |

@Tornado
- if you are interested in WWI check out Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History podcast. He did one not too long ago about WW1. It was amazing. I had no idea just how awful it was and how many men were being killed in a weekly basis. I was stunned and realized I really didn’t know much about it.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Yeah when I was a young man I found I knew a ton about WWII, but little about WWI. I've since remedied that to some degree, but I still know more about WWII.
