I must've missed the combo you're referring to. Can you explain?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

My intention was for you to be able to reveal an OM on Lex, use an invention, then take a turn with someone else. That probably didn't come through clear, but I tried to base the wording off of something similar Ronin did with the T-Bolts.

Ah, I see. The first bullet wouldn't matter, of course, but I can see how you could trigger the other two.

The combo of "before taking a turn" and "instead of taking a turn" is a little bit misleading, but I think it holds up based on previous interpretations.
