I will have pulled pork ready for dinner around 5:00. Also, I will PM everyone signed up for the event my address. If you want/need directions as well let me know so that I can get them to you. Don't forget that it is in my shop that doesn't have heating or air conditioning so dress accordingly. Looking forward to Saturday.

We are busy building maps for the event. Looks like we are at 12 players, which is great.

I am planning for 5 rounds (5 games) and likely matching up in North vs South style to get things going:

We'll have a team board set up and a 3-player map (thanks Nomad!). This is a casual event, not a full tournament, so you can feel free to match up against anyone but I figured that this North-South team alignment with give a little structure to the day.


Now I need to figure out what Pods to build ... hmmmm

For help building your Half-Army "Pods" - here is an link workbook. I have some sample armies that I was playing around with as well.

It is a challenge to get into that 10 figure limit. Partial Squads help but we're certainly going to see some more Heroes on the field.

obhippo, thanks for sharing the Excel file. You have some great ideas for armies! I have already selected and packed my armies for the trip down and I think you are right that we will be seeing more heroes. I certainly had fun deciding which three army pods to bring (OK, I am bringing 8 pods and will decide later).

No problem! we should have enough players to rotate through a few rounds before your arrival.
