Oh for sure! If I'm going for strongly themed swarm armies though, I just love Civvies x6 and Superman. Fun AND tough to beat.

Do you think some lava in the middle would be a good addition?

I found that squad massing in C3G is not nearly as effective. There are way too many classic C3g Builds that cut through squads way too quickly. Fan4, Professor X, and even the Outcasts are devastating against squads with Sabretooth, Avalanche, and Pyro.

Carnage, Daredevil, Phoenix etc.

The more I think about the more I realize that there are more Marvel heroes geared toward handling squads than DC heroes.

Lanterns would have a tough time (they have a tough time in general against most popular C3G teams), Justice league has trouble with squads if Flash goes down, and Kryptonians would have a tough time against squads too.

DC has the best pound for pound heroes imo, but as for squad control they need a little help.

Actually now that I think about it a Vigilante DC team would do well against squads with Batman, Robin, Canary, GA etc.

Looks like a fantastic map either way though ZL.

Teen Titans are a little delicate, but they're also pretty decent at taking down squads with multiple attacks per turn.

And just wait until I get around to LDing Nightwing!

Battle of the Bunkers is a Competitive map. Since C3G is a Squad heavy game, I put Team-Up (Thorian is Team-Up) right outside the start zones to encourage people to play more Heroes heavy armies. The Glyphs inside the Bunkers are Equipment Glyphs.

Looks like a fun and decently balanced map to me. Rings as the random glyphs are powerful, but it would be nice to see them get some use with out Mandy in play.
