Really just a reliability boost, which we slightly put there because of the overlap with JL Superman (which later realized was kinda unnecessary). Big thing of the push for it is that having the power that takes up a fair bit of text on the card only work 50% of the time kinda can be a feelbad.

Tough to say with Mary changes and Hoppy already boosting the faction, but I trust you to gauge how much testing is enough.

He definitely started as being an autoblock, so it wouldn't necessarily be totally new ground. I think I'll try and run a game or two with him as is so that Freddy can also help as extra tests there.

THUNDEROUS ARRIVAL
Start the game with Superman on his card instead of the battlefield. After attacking with Superman, you may immediately roll 1+X unblockable attack dice against that figure, where X is equal to the number of wounds ignored.

HEROIC DUTY
If a friendly figure without this special power that is within 3 spaces of Superman would roll defense dice against a normal, non-adjacent attack, instead you must choose a figure you control with this special power to move adjacent to that friendly figure if it is able to. The chosen figure must roll defense and take any resulting wounds from the attack instead of the friendly figure. When Superman uses Heroic Duty, he will take all leaving engagement attacks.

R2: Billy takes some solid hurting from Harada, but he responds by killing Ion with Lightning of Zeus allowing Mary to take a passing swipe to charge Harada, but dealing no wounds. Stronghold knocks Mary to 1 life remaining. Hoppy kills the Skrull, letting Billy go after Harada for 1 wound. Harada finishes Mary.
R3: Foundation wins initiative, Harada gets Billy to 1, then Stronghold finishes him off.
R4: Hoppy goes Down

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Foundation Wins. Harada with 3 wounds, Stronghold Unwounded, 1 Skrull unused

General Thoughts: Stopping a turn is not really a game shifter. It feels like it has some potential due to the initiative boosts innate to the faction for a back to back triple turn, but his cost basically prohibits that being viable. He’s a strong counter unit, and that alone kind of needs to keep his cost about where he is, but his cost basically does prohibit a lot of benefit from the faction that might allow for swings. I think the figure turn stop change is fine, will see more with at least one test with Freddy.

At least one more test with him will get done with Freddy, but wanted to put this up here and give a little bit of time if anyone had any concerns about the change. I don't think its a big one at all and gives him a bit more consistency of value in the first power.

R1: Freddy flies around, trying to deal some wounds, but gets nowhere. Billy drops in at end of the round to stop Piledriver, but no wound is dealt and the turn still chains. Bulldozer puts 1 on Freddy. Billy takes 1 LEA hits in racing to Heroic Duty against Thunderball’s attack, and Human Billy takes the other as Piledriver and Bulldozer are hit by Lightning in the dive.
R2: Billy and Freddy take initiative, and Freddy uses his heal. Billy only gets 1 on Bulldozer. Freddy takes 2 on a whiff against Piledriver. Billy wipes out Bulldozer. Piledriver eliminates Freddy. Billy destroys Piledriver. Wrecker hits Billy for 1, swapping figures but no damage dealt. The turns rotate back and forth, with Billy (civilian) eventually killed and Wrecker taking a total of 3 hits from the Lightning. Wrecker takes a big hit, and Thunderball helps him finish it.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Wrecking Crew wins, Wrecker with 5 wounds, Thunderball unwounded.

Bonus test from Freddy tests for reference (focus is on Freddy with those stats, not Billy. Billy did a lot of damage, but couldn't hold up under bonding pressure. Definitely think he's fine as is here. Some matches he certainly feels a bit weak, but those are not matches where he's up against foes that can ignore wounds.

I propose we make the updates in the SP.
