NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Sriracha back, you butter believe I’m cumin for you!

Army Test
Summary: CK didn’t do much (As expected). He only used the mustard marker for the attack boost while Relishing, but I definitely COULD have used Ketchup. I guess I was saving it for an opportune time, but ended up wasting it. He was still scary on his epid moment, which was a cool feeling.

Spoiler Alert!

Recap: Huntress immediately shoots Harley for 2 wounds. Huntress starts shooting Joker who has just moved up, and Clayface engages her, using his touch for a wound, while Harley goes and kills Robin in one hit! Huntress hits Joker hard, and he’s nearly dead. Clayface hits Huntress, but takes 3 wounds from counterstrike! Harley ends up finishes her off. Clayface hits Batgirl for a wound with his Touch, and heals one. Kaine tries to sting Harley, but misses both of them. Harley disengages Kaine to use her bomb, but complete misses with it. Joker blasts Batgirl and kills her. Kaine kills Harley, and Condiment King grabs a marker from Trapster to activate Relish the day. Kaine is shot for 2 wounds by Trapster, but then he kills him in one hit. Kaine kills Joker, but is hit by Prankster. Clayface then finishes him off with a Touch.

Damage dealt: 2 wounds to Kaine.

Mayo: N/A

Ketchup: N/A

Mustard: Uses in tandem with Relish, dealt 2 wounds to Kaine.

Relish: Used with Harley’s demise. He attacked Kaine twice (Who was on height), dealing 2 wounds on his second attack.

Summary: I wasn't expecting these guys to win, really. Too many weak guys which Bats loves to kill, but they really held their own. Zemo is annoying with his trap, but he fell pretty hard, so it was CK and Killer Moth which was the backbone of their army. Fun game, I love playing these little guys in thematic games.

Batman II (Shurikens, Grapple, Smoke Pellets), Nite Owl, Robin (Dick) (480)

Spoiler Alert!

Recap: Robin and Harley engage each other, with Harley dealing a wound. Zemo himself moves up to try to shut down Batman with his X trap, but misses his attack on Nite Owl. Robin hits Harley for 3 wounds. Zemo grabs height, and CK uses his Ketchup to move closer. Zemo decides to risk a shot at Batman, but takes a wound. Batman then kills Zemo in one punch. Robin kills Harley, but there are no unrevealed OMs left so CK can’t use Relish. Quilt shoots Nite Owl for 2 wounds. Nite Owl and Robin team up to kill Quilt. OM 2 was on Quilt, so it jumps over to CK! CK engages Batman, uses his Mustard, and deals 3 wounds with his first attack, but takes a wound from his second. Bats easily kills him then. Bats shoots at Killer Moth, when then runs forward, and his Bumbling Criminal kills Bats! Killer Moth hangs on way longer than I think he should, but still falls.

Damage dealt: 3 wounds to Batman.

Mayo: N/A

Ketchup: Used when Zemo moved up to get CK closer to high ground.

Mustard: Used during Relish again, dealt 3 wounds to Batman!

Relish: Used when Quilt died. CK jumped up height next to Bats and dealt 3 wounds!

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
He’s pretty cool. Obviously weak, but that’s not an issue. I know I had good luck with him, but honestly I think I had some “testing bias” where I probably should have shot him earlier, knowing his Relish is really powerful. He needs to be pretty close to the action, and he really shouldn’t last very long. I think 65 is the absolute max for him, and probably think he should move down because of it. If I played another game I’m sure I would throw a few attacks his way to try to take him out earlier.


GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT:
He’s super fun though. I know I had a few reservations during the design phase, but he feels appropriately cheesy, and had the potential to be dangerous, but only rarely. Which is pretty darned thematic. Love it.

Sweet! Yeah, he basically exists to be one big turn of attacks per game. But he's cheap enough that he should usually wound above his weight if he isn't sniped early.

Damage Dealt:
Condiment King dealt 7 wounds throughout the match which took out Iron Fist and did damage against Daredevil before his defeat.

Relish of the Day
Activated beginning of Round 3 after Iron Fist took out both Body Guards.

Bucky was the first to engage attacking Daredevil with his Machine Gun which was evaded.
a Bodyguard closed in and attacks Iron Fist with a Secret Attack Plan, Daredevil attacks Bucky with a ranged attack.

Iron Fist used his stealth leap and attacks three opponents with Force of One ability which dealt damage on Bucky and taking out the two Body Guards that closed in on him. Condiment King prepared his Relish of the Day. Bucky continues his attack on Daredevil with his Machine Gun succesfully hitting him while Captain America used his Shield Throw to attack Iron Fist and Daredevil, which Daredevil blocks.
Jewel gains height advantage on Captain America and attacks while Condiment King moved into position delivering a devastating hit with Oracles Secret Attack Plan which takes Iron Fist out of the game.
Daredevil continues his attacks on bucky removing him from the field, Condiment King moves and engages Daredevil with a ranged attack.

Daredevil focuses a ranged attack on Condiment King while Captain America engages with Jewel.
Luke Cage closes in and attacks Nitro with Jewel returning a blow onto Captain America. Nitro Self Detonates dealing heavy damage onto Luke Cage who was unable to block the blast.
Jewel continues to assault Captain America and Condiment King delivers a pathetic attack that is easily blocked by Daredevil.

Daredevil attacks and destroys Condiment King.
Captain America continues to trade blows with Jewel, Luke Cage closes in and ends up taking out Captain America while Jewel flies towards Oracle but it blocked by Owl who attacks Jewel with a Secret Attack Plan removing her from the game.
Owl tries to attack Luke Cage afterwards but fails.

Nitro returns to the Battlefield.
Luke Cage and Daredevil gang up on Owl making short work of him with the combined team up. Nitro engages Luke Cage and the two exchange blows until Nitro comes out the victor in the end with a Secret Attack Plan.

In the end Daredevil almost takes out Nitro with his assaults and ability to go the Distance but unfortunately it was not enough as Nitro delivered the final blow winning the game.

Superboy and Red Robin were the first to engage ganging up on Fire after Nightwing activated Titans Go quickly removing her from battle.
Nightwing attacks Electro with a ranged attack while Starlord uses Distracting Fire on Red Robin to have Condiment King move away from approaching enemies.
Red Robin attempts an attack on Starlord but misses while Electro performs a Electrostatic Bolt on Superboy, which he retaliates by delivering a heavy hit on Electro pummelling him into the ground. Condiment King prepares Relish of the Day.
Condiment King delivers a nasty attack on Superboy removing him from the fight.

Nightwing closes in and attacks Condiment King, The King squirts some Mayo at Nightwing who takes the opportunity to retreat while Starlord moves and attacks Red Robin giving Condiment King to lay down some Ketchup for a quicker getaway.
Nightwing activates Titans Go and proceeds to lay a beat down on Starlord aided by Red Robin, Starlord retreats by using distracting fire on Red Robin.

Starlord manages to finish off Red Robin while Nightwing catches up to Condiment King and attacks with a range removing him from combat.

In the final round of the game Starlord tried his best trying to take down Nightwing but proved to be too evasive as Nightwing came out on top with the win.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
Fun cheap figure to add into the mix. Teamed with the right people with right attack buffs, as well as a low level criminal as sacrificial bait, Condiment King gonna deliver quite a decent blow on a opponent. Unfortunately his only use as he will be taken down quickly in battle. Sauce markers are a definite must in making sure Condiment King stays away from combat until ready to strike, or at least make an attempted getaway once covering his opponent in relish.
