I saw this figure was $10 on troll and road. Apparently there is a fast forces version that looks exactly the same for 50 cents. Is there a reason the fast forces version isn’t listed?

This was a very interesting book to read.

Under Outgoing Synergy it states:
"Cyclops may add 3 to your initiative with his Tactical Initiative X special power if you reveal the X Order Marker on a Mutant Army Card you control."

Isn't the power +4 if all four OMs are on his card, and then becomes +8 if you reveal the X?

And just for clarification, the Mutant he uses to attack may use any special power that uses the words Before/After Moving, because the attack phase always comes after the movement phase, and even a move of 0 counts as utilizing the movement phase?

Updated the verbiage in the synergies to better reflect that. Your interpretation is correct. After moving/before attacking is treated as a phase, not actually requiring that you had moved or that you attack, in order to use. Jean Grey's Telekinesis for example would work just fine.

He sounds beastly! I'm going to have to do a game of X Initiative vs Avengers Initiative for some tense rolls. I love that card art, and him potentially getting +8 really fits with the chess theme of "white moves first."

Just some clarification in case you missed it. The idea behind the X reveal bonus on any mutant card was that if you were playing him with Wolverine then you could still put the X on Logan's card and get +3 for the 3 OM's still on Scott's card. After rolling, if you barely lost initiative, then you could reveal the X on Logan's card and double the bonus to win, but then Wolverine missed out on the bonus healing at the end of the round. It was a little give and take between those two. Of course if you don't have any mutants on your team that want the X, then it's just straight +4 or +8 if you need it.

That's a cool synergy. I think I've always just put all order markers on Cyclops when I've used him.
