I honestly don't know what the rule or standard is in terms of how long to wait before pushing an LD forward at this point. I saw folks getting shorter and shorter with their period, though, so I figured no one cares and just do it as soon as you feel like.

If folks feel like having clearer guidelines, I'm all for it, especially if folks feel like they're getting left in the dust, but I've been able to keep up fine so far so I don't want to create issues where folks might not have any either.

I think I lean with bats on this, but also if we clearly defined Move as being the number printed on the card then I'm not sure it's an issue.

When I was fussed at I was told the standards 48 hours was in case someone thought it needed to change from 1.0. Honestly though, I seem to find waiting 48 hours doesn’t get me any more comments anyway so it feels like it’s just a stall. But I personally do it anyway so I don’t feel like I’m ignoring them.

Not telling anyone they have to do the same to be clear.

Edit: for the record it looks like 24 hours for straight ports, which is better than 48.

I think "Move" is too close to "move" to use it by itself on a card.

From the glossary:

Move: The act of changing the physical location of a figure on the battlefield.

Move Number: The printed number on a figure’s card that is the basis for how many spaces it moves with a normal move action (before any bonuses or penalties are applied).

In the text we refer to it 2 different ways I noticed. As a statistic and a number. I think I lean including number and will post the other bit in the Rulebook thread.

So is +2 Attack too close to the term “attack?” I guess that’s why I leaned that way, it’s consistent with how we handle a similar issue.

If everything is +2 Move and +2 Attack and whatnot, and I see a card that says Move number, I might start to wonder if Move number is a different concept.

I think context matters there. Cannot exceed their Attack would also feel off to me.

At the very least it's a Final Editing issue, so yea for the vote. Don't think the Style team has fully weighed in yet.
