I have one of those! I have stats for a Heroscape version somewhere, too, I think. I might find them tomorrow.

A while ago I posted a thread about a tank I found in one of my old boxes, it can still be found on ebay for around $8
M4 Sherman When I was thinking up stats for it I was playing around with several ideas. AE attack Trample Ignore small elevations ( as long as I fitted ) Some one could ride the back and man the 50cal If the 50 Cal was manned, any flying enemy units with in 7 spaces could be shot at while they where flying( jumping) 2-3 times for 2dice each Also I was thinking as the tank took damage it would start to slow down, lose the 50cal and even end up losing the main gun, each ability being lost according to how many damage tokens the tank had. No healing the tank either. |

My idea for a basic tank's stats.
Tank Common Hero Large 7 Life 1 Move 7 Range 6 Attack 2 Defense 5 Tough- When rolling for defense, add one automatic shield Tread Movement - Tank cannot move to a hex more than 3 higher than his current hex. Ignore all height of 2 or less for movement. Ranged Targeting - For each hex between Tank and the defending figure, add one attack die. Tank's attack cannot be more than 5. Another idea for a tank ability Abandon Ship - when Tank is destroyed, replace it with two Tank Soldier figures. Never underestimate the power of a well coordinated squirrel army. |

Designing a tank is a great idea but you would also have to have new weapons that can kill a tank. I would think a tank would be stronger than a castle door and we all know how hard it is to destroy a door. It would almost have to be a complete master set that has a heavy armor/weapon theme.

Tank idea Is good, soulburg tank better. but why stop there?
How about jets and and subs? the only problen would be is it would shift the theme around to Heavy Machinery and it might lose its power in the game ~Those who live by the dice, die by the dice.

Ignore small elevation is quite appropriate but how about ignoring small elevation and don't care if it fits or not? I mean stopping movement on uneven terrain even if the tank is tilted by 2-3 levels of elevation as long as it does not roll over. This way, players won't have a hard time moving a 4-6 spaced unit. What do you guys think?
