Norcal BATTLELORD Tourney Apr21. See 1st post
This is the duplicate armies tourney. The basic idea being that there will be 4 pre-determined battles. Each player will then play each of the 4 battles for 6 rounds. At the end of the day we will know what the average point differential in points killed in each of these battles. Then we will be able to see who made the most of their army and is therefor the most versatile general. It isn't necessary to win each battle to be the best... just lose by less points than everyone else lost by on those tough matchups. Let me know if you want in... tourney locks at 16 participants.....#17 forward go on waiting list.
Tourney Date: April 21st Time: 11 AM Location: A-Town Pizza 1231 Park st. Alameda Entry fee: $10 (covers your pizza consumption) Don't bring prizes....we play for the trophy and for fun. Battle #1 Cowboys and Samurai stumble into a spooky graveyard late one cloudy night. In the darkness they happen upon 4 empty graves. Looking more closely they discover the headstones read "Truth and History. 21 Men. The Boy Bandit King. He Died As He Lived- Guilty McCreech R.I.P.", " MURDERD BY A TRAITOR AND A COWARD WHOSE NAME IS NOT WORTHY TO APPEAR HERE-Shotgun Johnny R.I.P.", "Pard, we will meet again in the Happy Hunting Ground to part no more, Goodbye- Deadeye Dan R.I.P.", "To save your world you asked this man to die: Would this man, could he see you now, ask why?- James Murphy- R.I.P." Shocked at seeing their own names on the headstones, each man shakes off a chill as the hair on the back of his next stands. Somewhere in the distance a feral cat mewls and shrieks..... then the first Zombie appears from behind a ruined crypt. Armies: 5x Zombies of Moridan 1x Shades Sudema vs Shotgun Johnny James Murphy Deadeye Dan Guilty McCreech Izumi Samurai Tagawa Samurai Kozuke Samurai Zombies start on rock behind ruins on top, Cowboys start on rock at bottom. At this point both dates are fine for me. I went and adjusted the poll to reflect this option ...
Just because you're offended, it doesn't make you right.

Either date works fine for me as well. Glad to see the zombies will be getting some love in one of the games :P Zombies seem like figures that everyone likes, but that almost no one would field in a regular bring-your-own tourney.
One in a million chances tend to come up nine times out of ten. |

This 21st should be fine with me, I'm really looking forward to this. I need to start studying these armies.

Not sure yet for me. Nothing should be impeding my humble presence.
However, have armies been set up yet? Where can I find the pre-mades? 9 RotV - 4 SotM - 5 DDMS - 2 MarvelScape - 7 RttFF - 6 FotV - 5 VW - 4 TT - 4 TJ - 5 GC Xclusive - 6 FB's - 1,561 Figures - 7,147 Hexes - 174.24% Complete - (All for just $4,000 BUCKS) |

Alastair should be releasing some additional match-ups soon. I will, however, let the dead out of the box and give up some details ... Undead vs. Cowboy Samurai
