So I did a little update thanks to Archie and LV. I put a range of one because taking the average of the two would turn out weird.
Let me know what you guys think of limiting the range. Good idea, bad idea, let them choose which range to use between the two cards? NAME = DOCTOR STRANGEFATE SECRET IDENTITY = CHARLES XAVIER SPECIES = METAMUTANT UNIQUENESS = EVENT HERO CLASS = SORCERER/RULER PERSONALITY = RESOLUTE SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 6 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 5 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = ??? CROSS-DIMENSIONAL INCURSIONS At the start of the game you may choose a DC Unique Hero and a Marvel Unique Hero you control and place one figure on the Army Card of the other figure to create an Amalgam. For the entire game, your Amalgam:
AMALGAM SUPREME After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Doctor Strangefate, you may take a turn with Doctor Strangefate's Amalgam or any other Amalgam card you control. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control. MAGICAL DEFENSE When Doctor Strangefate is attacked by an opponent's figure that does not have the Magical Defense special power, the most wounds Doctor Strangefate can take for this attack is one. FLYING SUPER STRENGTH |

Do not like the average thing at all. It’s a lot harder to remember and if you forget you have to recalculate it every time. Where as +1 is just look at the card to remember.

I think having that power on an event card instead will open it up to more freedom for that.

I think averaging all the stats is fine. You’ll just need to mark a piece of paper with the Amalgam’s stats at the start of the game.
I agree with LV that an Event Card is probably the best way to go here, but a casual card for Dr Strangefate works too. It just kinda limits his big thing to something that Strangefate doesn’t need to be there for. |

Normally I’d agree, but this is a wacky idea and so I give more leeway in what’s acceptable because of that. You already have to use three cards to figure out how the one merged card plays, I’d rather just write down the stat block manually and only have to refer to the special powers on the merged card.

LIFE = 6 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 6 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = ? CROSS-UNIVERSAL SCHEME After revealing a numbered Order Marker on a card in your army, you may reveal an "X" Order Marker on this card. While there is a revealed "X" Order Marker on this card, instead of taking a turn with that figure, you may take a turn with any 1 Marvel and 1 DC Army Card you control. Doctor Doomsday may be one of the chosen heroes and you may not take any additional turns. While Doctor Doomsday is destroyed, you may only activate 1 Marvel or DC figure you control. MYSTIC BLAST SPECIAL ATTACK Range 5. Attack 4. Figures attacked by this special attack cannot use the Magical Defense special power this turn.
