Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
I mean theoretically the costs of those boosts are baked into the units who provide them so even if used slightly wrong it wouldn't completely invalidate the tests.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Yeah exactly, my point was I think he's still looking pretty good! The boosts will help him stick around a bit longer and deal a bit more damage. Neither of which I think would skew a ton here. He said he might run some more though. I don't want to move forward without testing the new changes at least ONCE properly!

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Yea sure. Looking good so far in my opinion though. That's probably a mistake a lot of our end users would make so not worthless tests.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
It's funny because I specifically pointed out to him that he's an Event Hero when I sent him the info, but it still went over his head.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Yeah, there are still synergy units you can use with him, though, like Oracle, Detective Chimp, and Nebula, that still work with him.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Notably, Invisible Woman, Karolina Dean, and Violet Parr can all provide him defensive boosts still. Chimp and Oracle and Nebula are ideal, though, since you don't really need to move any of them.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
I'd probably be happy with LP or Zak running just one more game with him in a correctly built army and assuming results were fine, moving forward.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
I would totally run another game, but I'm in the middle of Bunker so it'd be a bit at this point.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Well yes, technically he shouldn't have boosted an Event Hero I don't think it's the end of the world here that he did. There are other Event Heroes I'd be more worried about getting boosted. Two wins, one super close, one kinda solid. Seems like we are closing in.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Zak messaged me on discord that he re-ran the Lantern test properly. From his description it's looking really good! I said I'll just post what he sent me since he hasn't typed anything up yet.

Re: The Book of Prometheus ~ Public Testing
Ah. If you're feeling good, I can shift focus and do something else other than testing tonight. Or I can just run one. Let me know what you'd like!
