We're back!

Frylock is coming home for winter break, so that means we can squeeze in some battle reports for everybody. Hopefully we can get along.

Anyway, our first battle will be played on Badru Valley by Gamebear.



The 540 pt armies are (sorry no pics for this first report):

Neither of us have tried out D2 or D3 yet, so naturally we had jump for the new guys.

I had to go back and check my record... I knew there was one of these where I hadn't lost yet. After saying that, I probably just jinxed myself.

Trying to continue my winning streak... I'll take Wonderball.

Reasoning:

Spoiler Alert!

In my experience, the Warforged suck. 3 attacks of 3 just isn't that impressive, even with Tactical Switch. Resolve is OK, but it seems to me their lack of range and general speed brings some ranged attacks dowm on them from height before they can get close. This matchup was tougher though, as Badru Valley is actually a good map for them with the choppy high ground in the middle, and Wonderball's army is mostly melee. However, what's pushing me over here is Moltenclaw's mobility and the ability of the Greenscales to screen him, allowing him to fly from perch to perch unhindered. His size also prevents tactical switch, and Raelin RotV is just so superior to her counterpart.... plus, I don't like the Iron Golem. He probably seems good against Moltenclaw, but I think a couple concentrated, boosted Greenscale attacks, or even a Moltenclaw/Dragonspine normal will take him down.
