Don't know his name (Sherman?) for Seattle - but his classless interview there at the end of the game typifies why I cannot stand Seattle and will never root for them.

I agree Necro. While I doubt the Seahawks will get destroyed, I agree with the sentiment and just hope the Broncos win by any margin.

Sherman is a douche and his classlessness distracts people from Russell Wilson's class. I detest Sherman, but really like Wilson. But still want the Broncos to win.

I like Harbaugh. He is whiny, but most of his meltdowns seem to stem from over-competitiveness more than anything. I think that competitive fire is an asset in a coach. Plus, most of the time he's right.

Sherman, on the other hand, is that purposefully annoying kid on the playground who is always asking to get punched in the face.

All that and his meltdowns are flat out awesome for tv. The current incarnation of the niners deserve a championship, maybe next year.

This is the matchup I wanted to see, and I will be pulling for Manning as it seems most non-Seahawks fans will. I remember saying in this very thread that he should just retire. I am glad he didn't; it is a great story.

I'm not sure if that's a dig on the officiating, but I know I've seen 9ers fans taking shots at the officials elsewhere. IMHO, officiating virtually never determines the outcome of a game..The aggrieved team should have and could have done more to take advantage of its own opportunities, including the times elsewhere in the game when it benefited from the officials missed or blown calls.

In the annals of professional football, there was only one game I remember in which a series of blown calls seemed to take the game out of the players' hands:


Super Bowl XL. The victims? The Seattle Seahawks.
