DRAINING TOUCH: Hit both times, second rolled got some help from Destiny.

POWER TRANSFER: First drain took Omni-Man's powers and used it against him. Second time she took Invincible's powers to try to finish out Omni-Man with Desperate Attack but it missed.

R1 – Mystique selects Atom-Eve. Rogue move adjacent to Omni-Man, Drains him and attacks him with Omni-Mans attacks number, doing 3 wounds to him. 2 Outcasts move. Invincible attacks Rogue and hits her for 2 wounds, misses with desperate attack. Eve puts a marker on her car and attacks Rogue, its blocked. Rogue uses Omni Punch on Omni-Man doing 2 wounds. Pyro rolls for his SA, which can hit all three enemies but blanks the roll. Omni-Man attacks Rogue with his Omni Punch doing 2 wounds. Atom Eve places a marker on Omni Man and attacks Rogue, its blocked. Rogue gets her Marker back.
R2- Omni-Man heals a wound. Rogue puts her Drain Marker on Invincible, he takes a wound. She attacks Omni-Man(2 Eve markers removed) doing 1 wound, she rolled for Desperate attacks but blanked. Blob attacks up on Omni-Man and does 2 wounds to finish Omni off and OM1. Avalanche attacks Invincible, its blocked. Blob attacks Atom-Eve, its blocked. Pyro uses his SA on Invincible and Eve, both are blocked. Invincible attacks Rogue, its blocked. Mystique attacks Invincible, its blocked. Invincible attacks Rogue, its blocked. Pyro uses Lackey power to attack with his SA but again blanks the roll! Invincible attacks Rogue finally defeating her. Atom Eve attacks Blob, its blocked. Blob hits Invincible for 1 wound. Avalanche attacks Invincible but rolls all shields. Invincible attacks Avalanche, doing 3 wounds, Atom Eve attacks Blob, its blocked. Avalanche attacks Invincible its blocked. Mystique attacks Invincible its blocked. Destiny moves and attacks Invincible, its blocked.
Endgame – Invincible was able to take out a wounded Avalanche but got tied down by Blob. Blob defeated Atom Eve which just left a full health Invincible. Pyro kept attacking and missing while Blob absorbed attacks from Invincible. Mystique final got a couple wounds in on Invincible but that allowed him to start using Desperate attack which started piling up wounds on Blob. Eventually Blob went down and Invincible went right through the rest of the Brotherhood.

R2 – WW uses a marker. Superman attacks Beast, its blocked. Superman uses a marker. WW attacks Jubilee and defeats her. Thor tries to Avenger her but rolls 2 shields. Batman hits Beast for 1 wound. Rogue Drains Thor and gains his powers. She attacks down on WW doing 1 wound. Superman attacks Beast, its blocked. Rogue attacks down on WW, its blocked. Superman hits Beast for 1 wound. Thor tries to Avenge on Superman(WW misses the d20 and swipe on Thor) and hits Sups for 1 wound. Rogue tries to Avenge on Superman and does 1 wound. He attacks down on WW doing 1 wound. Drain marker goes back to Rogue.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I like this version of Rogue much better than the original. The 1.0 version was mostly unusable at her points. This Rogue feels a lot closer to 300. I had her go against 2 strong 1000 point teams. In game 1 she was able to Copy Omni Man's powers and use them against him piling up some wounds. In the next round she copied Invincible's powers to try and finish off Omni. Stealing either of their powers is dangerous for the other team. In game 2 she partnered with Thor 440 to see how strong a team with 2 figures who could use Avenging Avenger is. While it's a scary combo there isn't a great build to go with it out there. I was able to double activate them once in round 2 doing 2 out of a possible 4 wounds to Superman before Rogue went down. I'm not worried about it as the cost is high and its tough to build around. The biggest problem for Rogue is her 5 life. Her ability to copy powers on high cost figures is scary so she becomes a high priority target and that 5 life can go quick. She's right in that 300 point range but I think 1 more life could put her solidly right there. She does make the Brotherhood a complete 1000 point team and is the piece they are missing.

Good start

In that Rogue + Thor build, id recommend Quicksilver. He could keep her alive a bit longer. In a sort of damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. You lose bonding, but the extra attacks from the SA should help, as will the consistent stream of passive damage dice coming in from them going after anyone.

Seems like she plays better, so that's cool.

Cyclops and Rogue were defeated quickly at the start of Round 2. And the Mutants just fell apart after that. Emma had decent staying power in Diamond Form, but couldn't do much to harm Superman. Rogue had 1 solid turn of her Draining Touch, getting her to 7 attack, bumped by 2 from Emma to 9, and with Superman unable to use his defenses by Psylocke, but even still, he only took 2 wounds from the attack. So it could have potentially been a huge swing there, but it ultimately wasn't enough.

It felt fairly even at the start. Wasp rolled very hot with her Sting SA, which did a lot of damage. Valkyrie stood there until she got taken out as she tends to do. Meanwhile Rogue and Ms. Marvel took Thor out in return. Quicksilver saved Wasp, then Rogue dropped. It was pretty much over after that, as Ms. Marvel lacked any impact on her attempts to take out Quicksilver.

Thoughts: She feels fine. Definitely more playable than before. Going to be pretty matchup dependent I'd think. If she has decent people to copy, that hit much harder or have abilities that are worth using, I'd expect her to feel more worthwhile. But if it's a bunch of mid range heroes that have lesser stats than she, or mediocre abilities, she's probably going to struggle. I'm assuming you can roll for the Drain even after it's applied, so a consistent attempt at a wound on each transition is nice at least. I think on average she's going to feel slightly under costed, so if that point value is desired, I'd recommend a bump to a life of 6. That should make her feel better at 300, IMO.

And just as an aside, I'm noticing it never got limited to Unique Heroes as discussed, and was Move decided against here? (Neither of those would affect my thoughts/suggestions here, just noticed they never seemed to get decided on and implemented if so.)

Early: Some good activations on F4, able to get the family up onto the center while the mutants are still posturing nearby just outside of their startzone. Mystique misses her rolls for extra activations but X23 can still walk up. Reed takes a position on the center platform where he can punch down on X23 to put 2 early wounds on her, torch follows up with a weaker attack and drops her lower. Mutants steal initiative and get a surround on reed before thing can come up Sabertooth jumps up, mystique gets her roll and roque flies over. We put 3 wounds on Reed and Rogue hits her d20 roll on Thing. Then she gets cracked back hard by Thing and drops to 1 life.

Mid: Sabertooth jumps after Reed, scores two more wounds. Torch and Reed try to bring him down and he goes down to 2 wounds after all the healing of the round takes place and Sabertooth finishes Reed off. F4 take initiative, Torch walks over and burns X-23 before going super nova and killing rogue and x-23 and putting 2 wounds on Mystique. Sabertooth moves over to put a couple of wounds on Torch, avoids being smashed by Thing, finishes torch off and then gets dropped by Thing.

Late: Mystique walks over, and dances around to get next to Sue storm, puts 2 wounds on her with an attack but then Thing cracks back and ends her in one go.

Early: Raph takes the center high ground, turtles follow behind a bit slower. Sabertooth gets early order markers and he jumps at Raph scoring a hit but Raph just ninja flips away towards the rest of the turtles. We have a small skirmish, Turtle power comes up on order marker 2 as Leo and Raph fight over the center high ground but can't get anything substantial to stick due to the regeneration. Mystique's roll to activate other mutants keeps falling short but the turtles aren't landing their d20 boosts either. Second round comes up, 3 unit turtle power gets used so that Donny is able to move sabertooth to low ground and the turtles get a strong rotation in from high ground on him to put him down. Order Markers get moved over to Rogue via mystique's ability so we don't lose turn efficiency and Rogue moves up to put 3 wounds on Rapheal dropping him to 1.

Mid: Rogue puts a wound on Leo from an attack, Mystique's d20 finally wakes up and we have her move and sub her attack with x23 to get into the fight. X23 is quite effective against turtles by dropping their defense to 4 in most cases. The turtles keep flipping back after taking wounds, Rogue 'ends' leo but just activate's splinter's ability. Leo uses a turtle power and mikey gets a cowabunga to take off and they are able to end rogue after a strong rotation. Directly after this 23 kills Leo, and then on the next turn kills Rapheal. X23 takes most of the turns at this point, even dropping Donny to 1 life. She keeps healing and dishing out damage pretty effectively until she gets ended by splinter.

Late: Last part of the game is Mystique and Splinter fighting back and forth. After a tough round of exchanges she puts Splinter down but has only 1 life remaining herself. Turtles win initiative, meaning Donny can put the final wound on her with his ability.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT:
Went for a lower to the ground approach with Rogue this time. I think there were a couple of interesting abilities for her to try and steal from among her peers and her enemies in these builds but the limitation of having to drop her attack from 6 is a decent one. I'm not able to just straight up abuse healing or adamantium claws, though I did try to steal sabertooth's power once. The main target I used drain on was Thing from the first game because our stats were similar and he had a good defensive ability.

Rogue definitely doesn't feel overpowering, the nature of her kit means she is going to go with the flow of what's on the board. Even in an environment where there isn't a ton of crazy stuff to steal she feels good. A 6 attack 6 defense flier that can get an extra turn going with interaction from mystique is really night, she's a good option to have next to sabertooth or she can run point for the brotherhood while you take cheaper mutants. Could see her doing well in X-force or standard X-men builds as well. No complaints here at all.

I think she is going to be at her weakest when there isn't a thor or superman type enemy to interact with, simply because she doesn't want to drop her stats to take their powers. If she goes against a build like the rogues, despite all their cool toys her time is best spent punching them out. This version of the character seems to represent her after she interacted with Ms. Marvel and got a substantial powerup through absorbing those powers. I think it represents well and is a fun addition. No changes desired from me.
