Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Angel)
Oracle's got to be close, though you don't really want her if you have other 'X' OM figures.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Beast)
The goal with a Beast turn for me is to use Negotiation on someone, then Stealth Leap away and attack someone else. As such he's best used earlier in the round and paired up with units that can move him around for free. So his best allies are those who can move him when he's not taking a full turn. Stacking his OM removal with Prof. X's X OM power can really limit what your opponent can do in a round.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Beast)
Yeah, if you're running the Original X-Men against a heavy hitter or an Order Marker hub army, doing the early round negotiation with Beast and then having him jump over and hit someone else, getting lucky with Iceman and getting his Order Marker removal, and then having Psychic Defense X in your back pocket means you can basically own the round.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Iceman)
There are other options for Mutant builds in his price range, but few of them bring his combination of range, mobility, and special attack. In a Prof X/Beast build, you also have the potential of getting the Order Marker removal from Iceman's special on top of Negotiation and Psychic Defense X to just rule a round.
16 or higher is pretty high to hit, though, so it's not something to rely on in army building unless you bring D20 boosters. Pairs well with Sage as a result. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Pretty sure you can't modify a d20 roll for an SA.
But yeah, he's solid as a cheap special attacker. |

Ugh, yeah, I always forget that rule. Probably cuz I dislike it so.
