I'm in. Are there going to be prizes? I wouldn't mind paying to play if we can get a prize pool going.

Confirming that I will be there. I have the instructions already printed out for Hot Heights, Highways & Dieways and Sidewinder so I could supply those maps without a problem.

Re: Raleigh NHSD, 2009 "Cage Match"

Leave it to me to ask the obligatory "age" question....

I've got a 10 yr old and an 8 yr old that will want to play. Everyone ok with that?

Also, will the tourney start at the strike of noon...or is there a chance it will take a while to get going? One son has a football game until 12:30. Assuming kids are allowed to play in the tourney, I'm wondering if he can play his game and still make the tourney.

Thx!

I was EyeOfSauron back in the day.
Now I'm Mythic.

To answer the question about prizes, we are trying to receive them but no guarantees yet on that. However if we do not get anything then the store will provide some sort of prize package for a fee. So no matter how this goes we plan on having something in the end.

There is no restriction on age, the more people the happier we will be. Also about the time if people would prefer a later time I believe I can get it pushed back till 1:00 p.m. I will only do this if is a better time for everyone or if it is just plan okay with everybody.

Re: Raleigh NHSD, 2009 "Cage Match"

No objections to a later start, with the caveat that if we want to get in a decent number of rounds, we'll also have to stay later. In previous tourneys, IIRC, we've started around 11 / 11:30 AM, and with only four rounds we've still gone to around 5 or so, and I would say we would definitely benefit from getting a solid five rounds, to have more definitive win/loss scores.

I'm okay with a late stay, but it's something to remember.
