I cannot upload photos!

Ive read the appropriate threads and joined up to the site I was told to but no 'upload' button appears. All I get is a screen full of everybody elses photo albums but I cant find my created album or add photos so in turn I can add a photo or two to a post! I am running windows 7 on a new computer (if that makes any differance). I also emailed funrun in site admin but have yet had no reply. Any whiz kids/ computer geeks who can help a tech challenged ozzie sort this out very much appreciated!

Do you mean in the gallery?

If so, you have to be a Site Supporter or a Contributor to do this.

If you want to post pictures and aren't a Site Supporter or Contributor, you can use a hosting site like www.photobucket.com or something similar.

Just tried to transfer photos from my picassa web (google) public album to HS thread and copy and pasted the web address into the URL site address box but all that happened was I got a little red cross in a box and no photo. What have I done wrong now?

Please help I am going insane!

How to post images:

The image has to be a supported file type: .jpg, .png, .gif.

If the image is already located online. . .
1. Right click on the image and select Properties
2. Highlight and copy the Addresss
2. In the posting text box, type "[img]" without the quotes.
3. Paste (Ctl+V) to insert that copied image address right after the closing bracket.
4. Close the img tag by typing "[/img]" without the quotes.

If the image is NOT already located online. . .
1. You need to get it online, if you are a site supporter, you can upload it to our Gallery, if not, you will need to sign up for an account at a hosting site like photobucket or picassa.
2. Upload your images using the options in your Gallery account.
3. Once your image is uploaded, follow the steps above

In picasa web, pull up a photo, then click "Link to this photo" on the right, then check "Image only (no link)", and select your size of your image, then copy the Embed image link and put on a thread as Cav described above. Unfortunately there is no way to embed high-res images from picasa to anywhere, but you can link to picasa web version of your image for high res by copying the "Link" from picass web and pasting in the box.

And don't worry, that is not a n00b question - most people have no idea how to link from google picasa as it is weird.
