Character Bio - Feeling that conventional police tactics and S.W.A.T. teams were ineffective against some super powered criminals, Lieutenant Stone proposed a program to train and equip dedicated police officers to specifically deal with those types of menaces. Dubbed Code: Blue, their first assignment was to take down the Wrecking Crew. Surrounded by police while holding a hostage, the Wrecker attempted to use his newfound skill with Asgardian magic to find the rock troll Ulik, but his inexperience gave Code: Blue enough time to secure positions around the building and attack. The organized strike enabled the officers to free the hostage while slowing the Wrecking Crew down. Eventually, the Wrecker used his crowbar to teleport his allies away leaving Code: Blue to score their first mission as a win. -Marvel Universe Wiki

Cool write up

I really like the theme behind Rescue Mission. I wonder if the Coordinated Efforts power could be something saved for Lt Stone. Not sure if you have any plans or interest in designing him though.

Regarding Lt. Stone. I wasn't originally going to a design for him, but why not? They made a figure for him specifically while all the other specific members were left out for generic minis. He could be a Unique Hero Code Blue Cop.

Something like this perhaps for him?

COORDINATED EFFORTS
After revealing an Order Marker on this card, instead of taking a turn with this Lt. Stone, you may take a turn with any other Code Blue Cop you control. After taking that turn with a Code Blue Cop, you may move up to 2 other Code Blue Cops you control up to 2 spaces each.

Maybe then instead of Coordinated Efforts for these guys, they could have a Grenade special attack or Machine Gun special attack. They are elite and throw down with real heavy hitter villains, not just your thug types. Or they could be left as one power designs and Lt. Stone could have a couple powers. This would keep these guys cost down.

Here's a good write up of who these guys are and what they are about. There are several specific characters in the unit, but aside from Lt. Stone, I'd rather not do them individually.

Looks like a fun design. I'm not a huge fan of having such low cost Uncommon Heroes because you have to field a card for each of them and it can eat up a lot of table space. Can we bump their life by one to make them cost a bit more?

I hear you Tickle. Perhaps we can spruce them up a bit. I mean they are a specialized unit and there shouldn't really be a ton of them out there like the Kree Scouts, so maybe something like this:

If the targeted figure receives 1 or more wounds from this attack and is not destroyed, you may immediately move any figure you control that is still engaged with the targeted figure up to 2 spaces. Figures moved by the Rescue Mission special power will not take any leaving engagement attacks from the targeted figure.

Yeah, we can go with that. I only did the other way because he's not big on Vigilantes. But, ultimately he's more of a Criminal and super bad guy fighter, so that would work too. He and the CBC have had their share of run-ins with The Wrecking Crew and Absorbing Man. Since they are Criminals, CI would work well for him. Consider it changed.
