Re: WARHAMMER 40k
Bah! the Tau Codex hasn't come out yet and it's been what, six years? this is out of hand. Rant Rant Rant. The tau suck enough as it is, they need the update. I know, I play them.

Re: WARHAMMER 40k
Based on the 40K figs that I've seen (not that many) most are shorter in height but bigger in width. Although some figures (like heroes and especially large monster-like) are a good match.
But these guys don't seem to mind. Some more pictures that you can compare... Heroscape and Warhammer and other miniatures size comparisons. Last edited by screwDriver; March 14th, 2012 at 05:58 AM. |

Re: WARHAMMER 40k
Bit of a bump, but I see you have Marro and I assume your using it as proxy Tyranids? Do you have any ideas what Tyranid figures would be good as Marro proxies? Or vice-versa, because they fit together so well.

Re: WARHAMMER 40k
I'll preface this by saying I do not play, nor have I ever played Warhammer 40k. Nonetheless, while reading the morning comics this morning I noticed the following:
Yes, that was actually printed in the newspaper. Who knew there was a cross-over between fans of the Family Circus and fans of Warhammer? I thought you guys would think it was as funny as I did. Last edited by The CEE; October 31st, 2012 at 05:27 PM. |

I know, it's hard to believe right? I had to do a double take when I first read the comic to make sure I wasn't going insane.

Re: WARHAMMER 40k
Yes. My sons and I have Chaos / UltraMarine / Orks / Tyranids armies.
We started playing in 2006 4th editiion and then the armies went to the basement and forgotten. Recently my high school and college age sons found the boxes of armies and books and blew the dust off and we now have the bug again. Of course now everything is 6th edition. And of course we have to play with the latest rules. Hear that...? The sound of a cash register. We are having a ball with it. BTW - Heroscape has also been pulled from the closet. No extra money needed. |
