Congrats to the Ravens for a great year, but I'm so glad the Titans won. I really like Vrabel and it's nice to see a beastly running back and running game.

The Ravens has a hell of a season. It was special, now it’s over. A few borderline calls go against them, a tipped ball interception, the most drops (by a wide margin) the team has had all year. That’s how a team can lose, any given Sunday.

When's the last time an AFC team other than the Ravens, Steelers, or Patriots was in the Super Bowl? Seems like we finally have a changing of the guard there.

Interesting how dropped balls make a difference. Being a Bears fan, I've seen a lot of dropped balls all season long. I know at one point they led the league or were tied for the lead in that department, and they ended up 3rd worst with 25, compared to 13 for Baltimore. While Trubisky is a work in progress and may never be very good, in Chicago, he (or Nagy for play calling ) gets all the blame. A couple dropped passes here and there can make a huge difference as evidenced in last night'sgame, but Jackson won't get blamed for it like Trubisky.

The problem for Trubisky, is that the Bears moved up in the draft to take him and took him over Watson and Mahomes. Trubisky didn't draft himself, and only started for like one year in college. He gets maligned and I fear he'll never get a fair shake in Chicago, deservedly or not.

The Titans seemed to have a good game plan to try to have Jackson run more laterally and not get significant running yards, though he had more in the second half when Tennessee was playing looser. Also burning time off the clock was huge in trying to keep Jackson off the field, but also let the Ravens burn time when they had the ball. Bend between the 20's but don't break in the red zone.

I am pulling for the Titans and 49rs in the Super Bowl. The Titans beat the Patriots, which is always good in my book, and took down the Ravens, who had a phenomenal year. So I'd like to see them make those wins more worth it, by beating either the Texans or Chiefs.

I knew the Titans would be a tough out. But if the first dropped ball was a completed pass instead of an interception, and one or both of the (erm) discretionary personal foul-type calls (one on Jackson, one on Onwasur) who knows what might have been. Well it’s over now.

Bats, are you mocking me? Because ftmp I agree with you. It is a changing of the guard. Considering the players on the Ravens, it was one anyway. But I’m glad you came around to my way of thinking, and you’re excited about what’s to come.

More an observation than anything. My team still has no future but it’s nice to see some different teams in the mix for once. Too bad it’s all perennial powerhouses left in the NFC. I was rooting for the Vikes to break through.

Congrats to Green Bay. 3rd down conversions were huge for them. Russell Wilson nearly brought the Seahawks back pretty much by himself. What a stud.
