Re: Dreadnought - Design
These guys are designed to work with both the Maggia and Hydra faction. I'd like to keep them at 100 points as if fits really well for team building. It's something that Whiplash could use as well with his Robot Command power.

Re: Dreadnought - Design
Planning Ahead is a power name on Ra's in 1.0. Not to suggest you can't use it here, just a mental note we'll need to change his if so.

Re: Dreadnought - Design
Ok, I'll come up with something else. Not super in attached to it.

Re: Dreadnought - Design
Pretty straightforward, looks good.
Should uppercut be limited to adjacent normal attacks? The ability name sounds off if it triggers off of ranged attacks, but you could easily change the name if that's mechanically desirable. Personality ideas from the index: Efficient, Emotionless, Mindless, Subservient, Relentless. |

Relentless or Efficient makes sense. The robot has limited intelligence and can't think for itself. My original design had a clause where you could place or reveal order markers on the card, but I thought it might be a rules nightmare for not a lot of payoff. The hook was that once the controllers were defeated so were the Dreadnoughts. |

Re: Dreadnought - Design
Currently it reads as if the turn ends only if you use the once per round option. I thought I'd posted some different language to use there in the faction thread, but can't remember for sure.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Dreadnought - Design
If you did I can’t find it. I’ll look at a different wording.

Re: Dreadnought - Design
I'd probably go with BACK UP PLAN to avoid the association with the pharmaceutical product.
Wording attempt: After an ordered activation of a Unique Hero in the Hydra or Maggia faction, you may either activate a Dreadnought, or once a round, if you lost initiative, you may activate 2 Deadnoughts. After activating Dreadnoughts this way, your turn ends. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Dreadnought - Design
awesome...I have 600 points worth of these guys waiting to go
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |
