This officially passes.

And already I want to bring up a potential change. While building armies in preparation for the initial, I started thinking we should open up the healing to Mutates and Mutants as well. The Human & Inhuman Agents/Scientist/Engineers lane is fairly narrow. So adding in those two nearly identical human biology types from the Marvel universe would give you a few more useful build options.

Agent or Scientist Mutants w/multiple life (4) - Abigail Brand, Banshee, Beast, Mystique I,

Agent or Scientist Mutates w/multiple life (10) - Agent Hunter, Scorpion, Spider-Woman, Bruce Banner, Giant-Man, Goliath, Jackal, Mr. Fantastic, Yellow Jacket I, Yellow Jacket II

Not totally against the change, but I think it would really change how she plays. Alfred already gets a fair bit of play being carted around as a health pack, and this would essentially be Alfred with the ability to heal tons of more powerful figures and with bonding options. I'd definitely want to carry her around with Angel in a Mutants build and try to get as many heals as possible.

I'm not totally into that change. I liked Human Agents, I only suggested Inhuman because she works so closely with Quake. I don't feel like Simmons has worked with these other characters enough for it to be important to me.

I mean, with Brand around you can make anyone an Agent, right?

I'd say if you're going to open it up to that many common species, just let it be unrestricted.

I'd almost rather it just be all Human and Inhumans before 4 species of Agent or Scientist personally.

Ahh, yeah I don't want her to just get carried around by Angle in an otherwise all mutant build healing everyone like crazy. That would certainly drive the points up. I was just looking at who Fitz could pull back to the SZ for an easy patch-up.

Yeah, I'd either open it up to all species or, preferably, keep it to Humans and Inhumans, which is a significant enough number of figures still.

A few rules clarifications:

1. I've been of a mind that being targeted by a Special Power means being targeted for an attack by a SA, or specifically chosen for a power like Magnetic Toss where you choose someone and roll a die. When say Frankenstein attacks an adjacent figure with his normal attack and adds 1 to his roll and counts blanks a skulls, I don't consider that being targeted by a special power. We all on the same page there?

2. If Magneto targets Simmons with his Magnetic Toss power, and she manages to negate it before the first use, he can't use that power any more but he could still opt to use his normal attack that turn, correct?

For clarity you could say "chosen for a special power or targeted for a special attack." It adds text, though.

That was the interpretation used as basis for one of Captain Marvel Jr's powers. Affected by and targeted are not the same thing.

As long as we are all on the same page, we can work out the correct terminology in Final Editing.
