Multiplayer General Wars Madness 3/12 in Savage, Maryland!

Put me also down as a potential Possible Maybe Attendee. I haven't played any 'Scape ia long time (too long) and agree with @akden that's I should dust off the old collection, or at least some of the figures from one of the Generals.

If @hose can make the 4 hour trip to Savagelands, then I should at least try to make the 3 1/2 hour trek from UT, NJ. And if @Big Boa is coming from Jrrzee then maybe we could car pool like: @Sherman Davies, @Grishnakh, @Taeblewalker, @kolakoski , and @chas are going to do . . . hehehe;o) However, I too have multiple issues that need to be coordinated,

I'm surprised that you didn't also tag: @tom, @Arcus, @mad_wookiee, @spidysox, @peteparkerh, @fallow, @Northgate , @DragonSlayer2, @grunttactics, @King of Blanks, etc. It would be great to have an east coast re-onion tourney, instead of waiting for GenCon in Indy IN.

Excellent! It has been a long time. I would love to have you back. This format is not, in my opinion, particularly intense. Very relaxing, and I'm sure that (like everybody else) you'd have a great time.

Everyone - I'm sorry to tell you that our friend Sean (crichton) passed away on Saturday, Jan 30th about a year and a half after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. You can find his obituary at http://www.piercefh.com/obituaries/S...#!/TributeWall. He loved playing in our tournaments and constructing his crazy armies. If anyone wants his mother's address to send cards, shoot me a private message and I'll pass it along.

Looking forward to the General Wars on March 12th. I might even construct my army enough ahead of time that I actually play-test it!

A sad message indeed. Thanks for this information @kldonnelly . I was always curious about why he disappeared from the HS scene, but I understand that a personal struggle such as this might want to be kept private. My deepest condolences to you and all others who knew him much better than I. May he rest in peace.

You didn't say she's coming! It'll be good to see her again, she missed at least the last one, and maybe the one before. I will add her immediately.

I'm pleased to see that there will be quite a few people under the age of old-person attending. This should be a good event.

I'm also adding Sagrilarus + 1; hopefully they'll be able to come.

This list of attendees is a reminder that many of the people who want to come out and play Heroscape are not particularly (or at all) active on this website. Other people thinking about running events should notice.

I'd like to have a new traveling trophy. I'd also like to make / find it myself, but so far it turns out I haven't done that. In the alternative, I'd like @drewcula to make one and bring it, but he may not be joining us this time and he's a busy dude. If anyone has any thoughts in this department, please share them.

We could turn one of my old trophies into a new traveling trophy. They take up sooooo much room , it would be good to donate one for such a worthy cause. I believe one is even a Drewcula special.

I dont remember the last time i dusted off my heroscape cards.....College and work seem to take all of my free time anymore :'( However, I might be interested if I dont work that weekend and can grab a ride with someone. I'll prolly spend more time reading all the new cards than actually playing (assuming people draft stuff after the last official wave.... I havent had time to keep up with them.) Sadly the evil demons over at games-workshop have stolen my wallet....blasted 40k with its over-priced, unpainted, rule broken as all get out miniatures.

Oh, that's a shame. I always kind of thought of Heroscape as what Warhammer people wished their game was, but I'm sure it has some virtues that I don't care to hear about. Down with rulers!
