Yodaking - fwiw I have Helmut drafted, but not Heinrich. I became pretty interested in the Masters of Evil after watching that Avengers episode last year too. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Public Design Post
I'd be pretty interested in an evil counterpart to Cap, YK. I think that Zemo could use some tweaking, mostly on the wording, but it's a very good start.
I also prefer Margloth's Crime Spoiler, I think it's interesting to see a power tied into Initiative. If we do stick with the current version, I'd like to see the boost kicked up. 8 or 10 would seem much better to me. Re: Public Design Post
On the Spoiler discussion, I thought some of or parts of my earlier ideas had gotten a bit of traction but figured nothing would be fully discussed or decided on until she won and had entered the design phase.

Re: Public Design Post
I think going Margloth's direction instead of a + to your initiative roll works better with some thematic partners we have in the sanctum as well.

Re: Public Design Post
I like the idea of messing with Order Markers, though... maybe let her remove an Order Marker if she wins initiative? Or would that be too much? Frankly the auto-wound feels a bit weird to me; how would she be doing it?

So are we good on this? CRIME SPOILER If you win initiative, you may choose a Crime Lord or Criminal adjacent to Spoiler to receive a wound. If you lose initiative and Spoiler is adjacent to a Crime Lord or Criminal, she receives a wound. |

Re: Public Design Post
Reading through some Indy bios I considered a design that used C4 explosives. What do you think of these powers?
C4 Start the game with three C4 Markers. After taking a turn with .... you may place one C4 marker on the card of any adjacent Destructible Object. You may not use C4 and Remote Detonation in the same turn. REMOTE DETONATION After taking a turn with ..... you may use Remote Detonation. All Destructible Objects with a C4 Marker on their card are destroyed. All figures within two hexes of a Destructible Object destroyed by Remote Detonation receive two Wounds. ---- The big limitation would be that if there are no DOs you can not use C4. If there is a way to make this work I think REMOTE OPERATION should be worded so figures receive two wounds from each destroyed DO they are within 2 hexes. Re: Public Design Post
I think if you just did it to where after moving, the figure could choose any DO they were adjacent to at any point during their turn and roll the d20. If they rolled X or higher the DO would receive 4 wounds. That would be a lot simpler than what you are suggesting.

Re: Public Design Post
I picked up the Nomad figure a while back so here is my take on the character. Admittedly I am not all that familiar with him, just really liked the figure and back story once I read up on him, so if anyone more familiar with him has some theme related input I’d really like to hear it. I’m not really sure if things like personality and class are a good thematic fit or not. This version of his card is meant to represent his character prior to becoming the Scourge.
Nomad (Jack Monroe) Points: 150 Human Life: 4 Unique Hero Move: 6 Fighter Range: 1 Defiant Attack: 4 Medium 5 Defense: 4 Partner Up – At the start of the game, choose a Unique Soldier or Vigilante Hero you control for Nomad to partner up with. After revealing an order marker on this card and taking a turn with Nomad, if the figure he partnered up with is within 6 clear sight spaces of Nomad you may take a turn with that Hero. Shotgun Slug Special Attack – Range: 5, Attack: 2 When attacking with Shotgun Slug Special Attack, all skulls rolled count as one additional hit. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The partner up power is inspired by the fact that he was Capt. Americas running partner for a while, then he left that partnership and later on teamed up with the Punisher and Daredevil to take down organized crime groups. So I wanted to give him a limited bonding power with those units, then I made him a fighter so he could also team up with Luke Cage too. As an urban street brawler type guy who fought crime I thought him and Luke cage made a nice thematic combo even if they did not team up in the comics. Didn’t want to make him another vigilante even though that is the role he played for a while when he went solo as we already have a ton of vigilante figures and I was not too sure about several of the synergies that exist for that faction being a good fit for him. The reason I have him going first in the bonding order is because Capt. America, Batman, & the Punisher can all get 3 ranged attacks on their own, and even Daredevil can attack all figures adjacent to him so I wanted him to get a chance to attack first before his partner cleared the map. I also had the OM reveal occur on his card to prevent chain bonding with Robin or Bucky. For the SA, we have had several shotgun wielding figures in Heroscape and they always had buckshot based special attacks but there is more than one ammo type available for shotguns. The shotgun slug is a devastating shell that is much more fitting for a battle involving super powered and highly armored figures so that is the direction I took for his weapon. I thought about giving him both types of shells to choose from but then I thought pairing up a ranged blast radius type special attack with the 3 ranged attack figures previously mentioned would be a bit too much firepower for one OM. Re: Public Design Post
I don't know the character at all, but I like the write-up. The Partner Up power is quite a cool idea.
