For all the impact he actually had, he's still probably a bit overpriced at 80, but he was fun enough in the second test. And, let's be honest, Kool-Aid Man belongs in the 80s!

Round 1: Initiative Fan Four. Reed, Sue, and Wasp advance. Prof. X. has Angel carry him behind a Short Ruin DO and Cyclops flanks and blasts an Evergreen Tree, but can’t hit.
Reed advances solo, still in Sue’s aura.
Jean tosses Reed out of Sue’s aura, but can’t hit him. Cyclops blasts Reed for two wounds.
The best Reed can do is have Sue and Wasp advance, then lockdown Jean and Cyclops. Prof. X. stops his attack.
Jean tosses Reed for a wound and then wounds him again when he whiffs his defense. Cyclops area blasts a whiffing Sue for three wounds.

Round 2: Initiative X-Men. Jean and Cyclops fail to hit Reed and Sue.
I wanted to run up Kool-Aid Man her for some relief, but the only wounded allies he could reach were not engaged. Bummer.
Reed and Wasp fail to hurt Jean. Reed fails to move at all.
Jean fails to throw Reed and is forced to attack Wasp, but fails. Cyclops KOs Invisible Woman.
Wasp puts two wounds on Jean.
Jean KOs Wasp. Cyclops KOs Reed.
Kool-Aid Man advances.

Round 3: Initiative X-Men. Beast advances. Cyclops advances and blasts down the Great Evergreen Tree, wounding Thing and Hellcat.
Thing moves towards Cyclops.
Cyclops backs up, kiting Thing, and hits him for two wounds. Jean throws Thing down, but can’t hit him again.
Thing engages Jean and hits her for a wound.
Cyclops KOs Thing, who Kool-Aid Man was planning to run and heal next turn. Jean can’t throw Kool-Aid Man, but does blast him for three wounds from range.
Kool-Aid Man “Oh Yeah’s” his way through an Evergreen Tree, KOing Jean with it.
Round 4: Initiative Fantastic Four.
Hell-Cat advances.
Cyclops KOs Hell-Cat with his Optic Blast. Beast engages Kool-Aid Man and hits him for three wounds. Beast has no wounds to clear.
Kool-Aid Man “Oh Yeah’s” his way through a Parked Car DO, just for fun, to no effect, and fails an attack on Beast.
Beast Negotiates an Order Marker off Kool-Aid Man and Cyclops blasts Kool for a seventh wound.
Cyclops finishes Kool.

Unit Summary: I still think the synergies made sense for Kool-Aid Man here, but without any ability to passively move and keep up with Reed and Sue and with the Fan Four getting dominated and quickly taken out by range here, he just didn’t have any opportunity to make an impact as a healer and his attack isn’t worth much. I’d say he feels like significantly less than 100 points, though.

• OH, YEAH!: Destroys an Evergreen Tree, leading to 1 Wound on Jean Grey, destroys a Parked Car DO just for fun.

Spoiler Alert!

Round 1: Initiative Avengers. Cap moves out of the start zone to get a good view of the battlefield.
Mikey advances.
Ms. Marvel commands Angel to go and he carries Kool-Aid Man to the front.
Donatello follows behind Mikey, then vaults next to the Large Ruin DO. He grabs Mikey with the anti-grav gauntlet and pulls him adjacent to the ruin.
Ms. Marvel advances solo, using Cap’s inspiration and the Secret Attack Plan to blast Donatello for 5 skulls. Don uses the Ruin to protect him from all but one wound. He loses the gauntlet.
Leo leads Raph (the X) towards the fray, flanking his brothers.

Round 2: Initiative TMNT. Turtle Power! Leo leads off, not able to get to the enemies, but he fails a Great Evergreen Tree and it hits Ms. Marvel for a wound. Donatello reclaims the gauntlet after vaulting next to Ms. Marvel, but his beefed attack results in no wounds. Angel flies Harley a little closer. Mikey engages Ms. Marvel and hits her for one wound. Raph can only move adjacent to Leo.
Cap tosses his shield at three Turtles, but only wounds Donatello for one. The gauntlet goes flying again.
Ms. Marvel takes back to back turns. She has Kool-Aid Man run adjacent to her to remove one wound from her, destroying a Parked Car on the way (gotta quench that thirst!). Ms. Marvel can’t hit Donatello. Ms. Marvel has Cap take the Anti-Grav Gauntlet, then KO Donatello. She blasts Mikey for three wounds (with help from the Secret Attack Plan).

Round 3: Initiative Turtles. Turtle Power! Leo engages Cap but can’t hit with a double attack (ruh roh). Raph can’t either. Mikey strikes Kool-Aid Man for two wounds, healing one of his (tubular!).
Cap engages all three Turtles, swinging his shield, but only wounding Raph for one. Raph tries to drink the Kool-Aid, but can’t.
Ms. Marvel has Cap hit Mikey for a third wound, but can’t finish Mikey herself. Ms. Marvel and Cap again can’t finish Mikey.

Round 4: Initiative Avengers. Cap follows the Secret Attack Plan to KO Mikey.
Turtle Power! Leo hits Cap for two wounds. The Anti-Grav Gauntlet goes flying. Raph picks it up, double attacks Kool for three more wounds, and heals one wound from himself.
Cap and Ms. Marvel each hit Leo for a wound. Leo hits Cap for a wound. Cap and Ms. Marvel combine to KO Cap.

Round 5: Initiative Avengers. Cap wounds Raph for two and sends the Gauntlet flying.
Raph fails to hit Cap back.
Ms. Marvel has Cap help her finish Raph, who goes down with OM2 and OM3.
Ms. Marvel has Cap rush towards the enemy start zone. His Shield can’t hit the Dynamic Duo, but Robin does advance one space.

Round 6: Initiative Avengers. Cap hits Batman for two wounds.
Batman can’t hit Cap, but Robin hits Cap for a fourth wound.
Ms. Marvel flies up and whiffs an attack.
Batman and Robin can’t hit Cap.
Ms. Marvel works with Cap but can’t hit Batman, who Evasive Strikes Ms. Marvel for a wound.
Batman and Robin can’t finish Cap.

Round 7: Initiative Dynamic Duo. Robin finally finishes Cap. Oracle transfers OM1 to Ms. Marvel.
Ms. Marvel has Kool-Aid Man advance. She isn’t engaged, so he can’t use the bonus movement.
She follows the Secret Attack Plan and KOs Batman, stealing OM2.
Ms. Marvel and Kool can’t hit Robin.
Robin KOs Kool-Aid Man.
Ms. Marvel can’t finish Robin.
In the next two and a half rounds, Robin does finish Ms. Marvel, taking sound Best Defense wounds in the process, then he puts one wound on Angel before Angel can use the Anti-Grav Gauntlet to finish Robin.

Unit Summary: Kool-Aid Man was fun here, but didn’t do anything offensively and his wounding balanced out. He feels much more likely to be useful when getting a turn bonding activation from someone like Ms. Marvel. He also was a good damage soak for his buddies, even as Raph and Mikey were healing off of him.
This one really came down to the Turtles failing to muster the offense to put down Captain America efficiently.

• OH, YEAH!: Destroys a Parked Car that was in the way of moving next to Ms. Marvel.

Stepped out and was greeted by a surprise, the sun.
Then I dropped KAM and Teddy in my rush to get outside.
Teddy was OK, he is tough but Kool-Aid Man broke an arm but I got it to stick long enough to get some pics. Have not looked at them yet.
It is a half hour later and it is practically a white out.

Got lucky, they both landed on their bases, like Vans shoes.
Pics look decent but I may need to take more of Teddy. I managed to cover him in the shadow from the phone in most pics.
