Okie, dokie!

The reason I'm laughing is that I was going to suggest some alternate wording, as it really didn't sound official. The last part usually says something like, "If Rorschach is engaged when he starts to Grapple Gun, he will take any leaving engagement attacks." Sounds pretty official, right?

Then I look at Sgt. Drake Alexander. Oh, he's pretty official, isn't he?

Interesting ability compared to the grapple abilities we have been seeing, as it only works going up. Still, you might need to call it Grapple Gun 25.

Criminal Intimidation
Same as with Daredevil, and makes Rorschach a nice counter to Criminals.

Shakedown
Oh, so Rorschach is a Bad Cop! This is a great ability. I watched the movie when it was released, so it's a little hazy to me. But this would definitely fit what I remember.

Final Thoughts
This is a really nice design with a great ability set, and this group of Watchmen is coming along great!

Nitpicky procedure note. I don't think it'll matter this time, but typically we don't send out to ERB until the Breathing Period is up, just to let the Heroes have the first crack at it, so to speak.

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Pass It felt just like Rorschach. Reckless and violent, he was awesome.

Units: Icicle (150)
An ice dart put three wounds on Rorschach, then the slippery ice took him out before he even got to Icicle.

Units: Catwoman (145)
Catwoman wouldn’t get lined up with her whip, but Rorschach couldn’t defend against her 3 attack either.

Units: Vixen (150)
She flew to height and he couldn’t break her 7 defense with Rhino Power.

Hawkeye’s Close Combat was too much.

Plastic man grabbed height, and his 7 defense was too tough to break.

Rorschach picked wrong for the mirror every time.

Electro’s skin dealt three wounds to Rorschach, and his SA finished him off.

- Give a brief overview. Rorschach kills a thug every turn, but 4 life and defense only go so far. He definitely fought well here, though.

Rorschach grabs height, and as the Thugs chase him he picks them off. When they tried to outrange him, he charged them, and one on height behind the rest of the group got the kill.

- Give a brief overview. He lasted the longest out of everyone. Mikhlo is NASTY, sucking in a TON of attacks while the others shot up the Vigilantes.

Mikhlo and Peotor obliterate Tim pretty quickly as Batman and Rorschach move up. Batman and Nite Owl hit Mikhlo for two wounds. Peotor takes out Batman from his perch on height. Mikhlo hits Dick for 2 wounds, and Nite Owl hits Mikhlo some more. Rorschach finally takes out Mikhlo, and Dick is stuck by Gravitational Grasp. Peotor kills Nite Owl. Rorschach is stuck by Gravitation Grasp, but Dick engages both the other monkeys. Peotor obliterates Dick. Igor finishes off Rorschach.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Red Ghost unharmed, Igor unharmed, and Peotor with 2 wounds.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 140
- Give a brief overview. Rorschach is brutal in close combat, especially when he gets height and paired with Nite Owl! He has lots of attack potential, with low survivability, so you kind of have to play him a bit recklessly, which I believe is true to the character. I had no problem running him into the middle of the opponent’s army knowing he’d probably get killed (Ironically he survived a while after he rushed Hush, he just didn’t do any damage!). With all the vigilante synergies we’ve got going here, he’s a lot better than in the heavy hitter tests.

Batman starts with his Grapple, First Aid, and Bat Shuriken. Hush chooses batman as his Vendetta. Thugs move up, with Bane in the middle, creating a firing squad. The entire Vigilante Army moves up the first round. Batman kills a thug, and Terry misses Bane. Freeze can’t hit Bats with his freeze ray. Rorschach can’t wound Freeze, but Tim gives him two. The thugs by Bane deal two wounds to Terry, who then retreats. Thugs put 3 wounds on Tim. Freeze takes out Tim with his normal attack. Bats grabs height on Freeze and deals him a wound, then Nite Owl finishes him off. Bane rushes Rorschach, dealing 1 wound. Rorschach and Nite Owl team up, grabbing height on Bane, dealing 4 wounds to him. Black Mask shoots Batman for a wound, and the thugs swarm around Bane, and then deal 3 wounds to Nite Owl. Rorschach and Nite Owl both miss Bane. Rorschach takes out Bane, and Nite Owl takes out a thug. Black Mask finishes Nite Owl. Rorschach charges Black Mask, and takes him out in one turn! Ventriloquist moves up, misses Rorschach, and takes a wound from You Dummy. Batman takes out two thugs, and Dick moves up. Hush moves up, wounding Rorschach one wound. Rorschach misses Hush. Ventriloquist and more thugs move up, and the thugs eventually take out Rorschach before he can do any more damage. Ventriloquist chases Terry, dealing a wound, and the thugs miss Batgirl. Batman misses a thug, and Robin finishes Ventriloquist. Hush misses Batman, and takes a wound from Shadow Strike. Batman takes out two more thugs, and Dick misses Hush. Batman kills off the last thug, and Dick gives Hush a wound. Hush charges Batgirl, but misses, and Batman then grapples down to Hush to finish him off.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Batman with 1 wound, Terry with 3 wounds, Batgirl with 2 wounds, and Dick with 0 wounds.

Gotta say, I think he's my favorite out of the initials I've done so far.

I'm thinking 140 for testing. He didn't get that much out of the heavy hitter tests and such, but with Nite Owl and Robin as back up, he's pretty brutal. I think Dick Grayson will be his best friend, distracting enemies to protect his low life/defense. He dies quick, but he can do damage.

I dunno. I was feeling about 120 until the second army test. I'd go 130, personally.

But I trust you - so as long as it's in that general range, here's my pre-yea for testing.

I'm more comfortable sending it out at 140, I think. We can see what other testers think.

Alright, I whipped up a bio (Well, Alan Moore did. ), how do you guys think about it? I can cut down that second paragraph if it's too graphic. Or if you'd rather go our conventional backstory route. Thought this might be pretty cool here.
