Glyph Bio - The Casket of Ancient Winters was an Asgardian artifact, which contains the Fimbulwinter of Ymir; it created massive snowstorms if opened. The hand size Casket of Ancient Winter contained the fury of a thousand killing winters. It was used by Surtur In his attempt to defeat Thor. Surtur unleashed the devastating power of this artifact on the planet Earth. Needless to say this event caused mass-hysteria. Thor with the aid of Earth's heroes was able to defeat Surtur and safeguard the Casket so that it could not be misused again.

PERMANENT GLYPH
All land spaces on the battlefield are considered Heavy Snow instead of their normal terrain types, and all non-land spaces on the battlefield are considered Slippery Ice instead of their normal terrain types. Ladder rungs are not affected by this glyph.

Molten Lava should stay Molten Lava.

What happens if figures are on the molten lava (now heavy snow) spaces and then the figure moves off the glyph, reverting them back to molten lava?

Just looking at the lava rules... the d20 roll for lava damage happens as a figure moves on to a lava tile. If the ground beneath them transforms from snow back to lava I don't think you'd roll for that figure.
