When will you be making this trip? Also, some pretty awesome news is I bought a 3D printer so if anyone is interested in some custom stuff stay tuned

I feel your pain. I get stretched pretty thin too just going to Brooklyn once or twice a month. But I'm glad that you'll be coming up again to see us in NY. And I'm hoping to get down to the next MD tournament myself.
@ @Taeblewalker - OH, if you're definitely going to D_S's NHSD event in GB, MD ... can you pick me up on the way? Once you cross the Outer Bridge from Staten Island, just take the Garden State Parkway south for 100 miles instead of getting on the NJ Turnpike there at the Woodbridge/Edison exchange. Then we can take Rt.'s 50, 49, 55, & 40 the extra 50 miles over to the Delaware Memorial Bridge ~~lol~~

I hope you realize that I'm just kidding. But if we did coordinate our itineraries - we could meet up at the Delaware, Cheasapeake, and/or Maryland Rest stops to refill our coffee mugs. Gonna need a lot of caffeine for this Unexpected Journey.
I'll probably be going to this and possibly bringing @Dragon4201976 . Can't say about the other Gang of Four members yet. It would be nice to meet up at a rest stop if we can swing it.

@DragonSlayer2 -- here are <LINKS> to the event details . . .

No format yet; this is just a save-the-date announcement. It's much bigger game shop, with a bigger dedicated play space and a bigger selection of games. It's one of the granddaddies of regional board game shops.
I haven't been to this "new site" yet, but I have been to the general area several times and do know it's about a 3 1/2 hours drive. So I would load up my car the night before and try to leave my house around 7-ish AM and after stopping at a Milville Wawa (on 49 or 47), getting onto 55 by 8:00 to cross the Del Mem Bridge by 9:00, pass Cheasapeake House by 10:00, the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel by 11:00 and arrive at the store in Glen Burnie by 11:30-ish.

That gives me a little time to unwind before sitting down to concentrate on playing HeroScape for five hours. Then after getting some dinner (i.e. pizza/McD's, etc.) making the long trek back to Jersey via I-95, & Rts. 40, 55, 49 between 6:00/6:30-ish and 10-11 pm. It's a long day, but yesterday I made a similar trip in the opposite direction to Plainview, New York.

HOWEVER . . . I have *NOT* definitely committed to attending @Dad_Scaper 's event on Saturday October 18th yet - BECAUSE there are two things that might interfere with my plans. #1. My wife may want to go with me and if she does will continue on to Richmond, VA to visit her daughter for a few days instead of coming back home the same night. #2. My doctor may want me to undergo a medical procedure sooner than later and I don't know if it will be scheduled within the next four weeks.

&OBTW: CONGRATULATIONS on getting the 3D printer. I was watching the KickStarter Project and would like to hear about your experiences with both.
@Taeblewalker ~ as the date gets closer and we confirm and finalize our individual plans, we can exchange cell phone numbers so that while traveling we can keep in touch and decide which Rest Area to meet up at. You can see my tentative itinerary above.

I thought it was 20 figures, not 20 hexes? Not that I'm over the limit anyway.

It is 20 figures, so says the OP. I hope that's the intent, because I'm at 20 figures, but 21 hexes.

73 tournaments. 175 - 145 - 1 overall record. 6 tournament wins.

Re: Mid-Atlantic Regional 'Scapers (MARS) Event Thread

It's 20 figures, which wasn't very smart, but it's what I wrote. To the best of my knowledge nobody is bringing 20 Grok Riders or anything like that.

As long as nobody fields an army consisting of nothing but Dumateff Guards, I think it will be ok.

Now I have to redo my entire army on the eve of the tournament! What am I supposed to do with all these Dumatefs?
