Re: Underrated Units
Romans have some notable bonding heroes like Me-Burq-Sa that allow them to play in ways that Greeks cannot

Re: Underrated Units
I think Greeks aren't a bad choice for bonding squad in really small games. They're still bad enough that I had to make two Custom Heroes specifically for them, however.

Re: Underrated Units
That is a very good point - Romans have ridiculous versatility there (and the Sacred Band lose Valguard as a viable option if you don't want to waste 90 points on Parmenio), but I still really rate them. Basically, Romans give you much more versatility when drafting due to more bonding options and no all Disciplined requirement, while Sacred Band are more versatile on the board due to not having to maintain formation - it's a trade-off, neither is superior.

Re: Underrated Units
For me, it is Kee-Mo-Shi.
Not sure why, but I love her sculpt and her ability is pretty cool when it works. She costs a bit much, at 130, which may scare some people off, but I just really like her. She's one of my favorite "non-competitive" units to play. I also love me some Goblin Cutters. "Chewie should move 6, lumbering or not. He's got long-ass legs"-

Re: Underrated Units
I like the Einar Imperium. While they are not really underrated (I think), their cost is pretty high, in fact, the highest for common squads. They are super fun to use, but they don't see a lot of action, because you have to have large point values so they don't take up your whole army cost wise. But I love em.

Re: Underrated Units
Maybe it's me, but I've always had fun with Mika Connour. Playing her on shadow-full maps turns a normally subpar char into a supper killing machine. Her use drops a bit in non DnD maps, but still comes with her own teleporting systemwith two shadow tiles. Fun for me, but probablynot for other people.Probably just personal experience.

Re: Underrated Units
I don't have Mika (unfortunately). Or many DnD figures for that matter, but Mike would definitely be a top pick for an army for me.

Re: Underrated Units
the werewolves - they are awesome when you get a good D20 roll for their attack, with 4 defense they are tough, give them Khosumet and they are even better so they can not kill themselves. Throw Raelin out front on the first move so they have a high defense zone to run through and you can really hurt some heros with these guys. I like to move a bunch of them out 1 turn near raelin, then make a charge with more of them close to reinforce.
