Re: Sports: NFL
Miami would be one of my top choices if I were him. Marshall, Bush, Long ... great nucleus for a guy like him to go into.

Re: Sports: NFL
Manning staying in the AFC works for me as a Lions fan, and the prospect of two Brady/Manning divisional games a year is appealing as well.

Re: Sports: NFL
Resigning of Carlos Rogers means that my Niners have their entire starting 11 back at D.
Not sure how I feel about bringing in Moss yet. Hopefully Harbaugh and a year cooling his heels can keep his attidude a little more team-oriented... |

Re: Sports: NFL
Glad to have Rogers back. Find it hard to care much about Moss one way or the other. Low risk, high reward. When the Titans had him I felt the same way. If he does nothing, at least it was a cheap nothing and if he performs... great. I trust Harbaugh to have the pulse of the locker room.
If the Titans manage to land Peyton, will Colts fans feel the same way about him as Packer fans felt seeing Favre in purple? Gotta admit I think I'd rather see him sign somewhere else. I don't think the Titans are a QB away from a Super Bowl, especially with Fisher raiding the defense. Keep Hasselback who performed well last year, develop Locker and just keep building a young team that can work well together. No need to hand the keys to the franchise to Tennessee's favorite son. ~Aldin, draft-ready He either fears his fate too much or his desserts are small That dares not put it to the touch to gain or lose it all ~James Graham |

Re: Sports: NFL
I don't think it would be the same for most Colts fans, just because the circimstances of Peyton's departure was so different than Favre's. It would be hard to hold it against Manning if he decided that the Titans were his best opportunity.
For my part, it would be awfully convenient if he decided to join the Broncos. I'm on the market for a new AFC team to follow, and I can depend on being able to watch the Broncos every week... |

This leaves the question who else will the Lions be able to afford? In 3 years will they be Stafford+Johnson+51 scrubs? |
