An uncommon Green Lantern is on my bucket list. The obvious parallel is the Sinestro Corps Soldiers, but the Green Lanterns really don’t need bonding. So I limited these rookies to pairing up with each other or working with their drill instructor Kilowog.

Double Green Lantern turns is already a thing for my Guardians write-up, so if they go through we'd probably need something different here. But I figured I'd throw this out here anyway since I liked the general idea.

The bonding with Kilowog offers an interesting parallel to how Arkillo functions in the Yellow Lantern Faction.

I've been thinking more on the Guardians. Since the Green Constructs require an Order Marker revealed on a Green Lantern card, they wouldn't work with the GLs led by the Guardians. So I'm planning on changing this:

HEED THE GUARDIANS
This Guardian of the Universe is considered to be a Green Lantern. After revealing an Order Marker on this card, instead of taking a turn with this Guardian of the Universe, you may take a turn with any one Green Lantern you control, or any two Green Lanterns you control if you reveal an "X" Order Marker on this card. Green Lantern Unique Heroes you control cannot take turns by any means other than this special power.

To this:

HEED THE GUARDIANS
This Guardian of the Universe is considered to be a Green Lantern. Before revealing an Order Marker on this card, you may move that Order Marker to any Green Lantern card you control and reveal it there instead. After revealing an Order Marker on this card, you may reveal an "X" Order Marker on this card to instead take a turn with any 2 Green Lanterns you control. Green Lantern Unique Heroes you control may not have Order Markers on their cards unless moved there by this special power.

This change would allow Guardians to work as an OM hub for the GLs while still allowing the GLs to control Green Constructs (except on double turns). It still has a slight negative aspect but fixes the main thematic concern that bothered me.

That’s pretty cool. It has that thematic feel of their empowering and driving on the GLs.

So is it meant to be an OM movement denial power? Right now it could shut down powers like Mind Games if you have just one Guardian and the rest GLs.

I didn't think of that use. The power was initially designed as an OM management with a slight negative of limiting your OM options. We could probably drop the whole last line, as I suppose it's more of a positive than a negative in this version.

Maybe just make it no more than one Order Marker. Still makes it more useful, but prevents anti-OM movement.

Or you could rewrite it where at the start of the round, you can’t place OMs on GLs. Keeps the same concept, but only affects you instead of the other player.

Again, not exactly loving the theme of Guardians making Constructs, but that’s a minor thing that can always be nerd-fought over later
