Dallas Team Tournament 2008:
Army = Q9, Kaemon Awa (Rodriquez) / Braxas, Rats x2, & Isamu (me) (600 pts)
Loss to Junge Roman and his ding dang Valguard!

Richardson Open - April 2008:
Army = Deathwaker 9K, Deathwalker 8K, Zettian Guards, Rats x4 (500 pts)
Loss to Dignan and Dignan's friend, Anthony.
Results 2-2

Modular Map Tournament - June 2008:
Army = K.Awa, Nakita, Krav, Marro Warriors, Zetacron (450 pts)
Loss to Rÿchean & Funrun; win over Piherculis.
Results 2-2

Dallas National Heroscape Day 2008:
Army = Braxas, Deathreaversx3, Airborne Elite, Krav Maga (540 pts)
Losses to Rodriquez, Tmac2200, and Dignan.
Results 2-3

North Texas Shootout 2008:
Army = Marro Drones x 4, NeGokSa, & Marcu (310 pts)
This was a small multi-player tournament where you scored points for the figures you took out. Dignan's friend, Anthony drove me absolutely bonkers with his "unusual" style of play. I played three 3-player matches and won one, came in second, and lost one to come in 4th place (out of six).

Army = Sir Gilbert, Knights x4, MassLine x3 (595 pts)
Loss to a Zelrig army by points when time was called. Win against Sweetcurse.
Results 4-1 (Came in first by points.)

DFW Wacky Tounament-3 Pack Draft - 2009
Army = Ninjas of NW & Kozuke Samurai / Alastair, Saylind, Concan, DW7000, Johnny Sullivan / Guilty, Deadeye Dan, James Murphy, Tagawa Samurai
Loss to Dignan & CheddarLimbo. Wins against Rym & Aahzmandius.

Dallas National Heroscape Day 2009:
Army = Zelrig, Stingers x 5, Isamu (540 pts)
Wins against wisinger, BroInLaw, and Dignan.

I am 47-23-1 overall for 66% win rate.

Okay, I'll play along ... I took my 12yr old son to his first tournament and, due to an odd number of players, stepped in to play so there wouldn't be any BYEs. I came unprepared, so, I threw together a gimic army of "anything-I-could-find-with-wings-in-my-sons-bucket-plus-Archers"

Once I started playing I got hooked, and hope to compete again soon. So ...

I am 2-3 overall for 40% win rate.

I have this nasty habit of practicing with one army and then picking a totally different one the night before the tournament. I also like to try new things. I'll have to stop doing that. Let's see if I can remember all this...

DFW NSD - Oct '06
Army: Braxas, Brunak, Old Raelin
I was just so excited about this army, but when it counted I couldn't get the Braxas rolls I needed. Even with Raelin, Brunak just wasn't the mop-up I had hoped he would be.
Result: 3-2

DFW Invitational - Dec '06
Army: Braxas, Charos, 2x rats
Dragons rule. I'll say it again- DRAGONS RULE. Keep your rat screen up, and it's only a matter of time before Braxas wins the day.
Result: 4-0

DFW Anti-Gencon Heat of Battlel - Aug '07
Army: 3x Blast, 3x Glad, Old Raelin
Other than a completely demoralizing slaughter at the phlegm of DrL's Braxas, this army ran the table. This army is nasty in any setting (as Imax can attest), but not very interesting to play.
Result: 3-1

DFW NSD - Oct '07
Army: 3x Minions of Utgar, Major Q10, Marcu
If I could get to a glyph on my first marker, I led with Marcu and managed to avoid the hate. Other than that, this army did quite well against everything but DrL's motherCounting Braxas and a very narrowly fought battle against the Rev's Sentinel/4th Mass army. It's biggest weakness is mobility and the survivability of Q10. Keep him safe.
Result: 3-2

Braxas seems really popular in Texas, if you two are representative of the metagame down there at all.

Awa with Raelin deadly once again. Ashigaru surprised me in the championship game by taking out a fully bloodlusted squad of Tagawa Samurai. I believe only one or two Ashigaru were lost. (They had Raelin's help of course)

The first Lee's Summit tourney (410 point limit) I used:

1x Deathreavers
Izumi Samurai
Syvarris

I won 2 and lost 2. My first win was probably due to the AE forgetting to come to the battle. Cyprien gave me a hard time. Q9 was impossible to wound... my last battle was looking really good with just one stinger and Q9 left to beat, but Q9 took out half my units before time was called. The Samurai was probably my least-used units and looking back on it I probably should've swapped them for Deadeye Dan.

There's another tournament this Saturday, and I'll try to remember to report back on how that one went (if I'm not crying afterwards.)
